i think all this hoopla posted in this thread is hilarious. geezus guys. ur not being paid a salary, bonuses mechanic and transportation of everything to and from the races to not perform. its pretty evident since its literally all telivised/recorded..... i'd be f'n pissed if i was footing that bill and i'm getting absolutely nothing in return. this kid had deegan speed and started out competitive and has disappeared. somethings goin on and i don't blame manage for benching him. somethings gotta happen...the alternative is dropped and replaced

I mean he rides for Star they have a trainer making them do shit as a group probably almost every day then they are doing motos mixed in there all week. If he wants to chase chicks the two half days he has off that's probably fine.
Exactly how many winners of championships do you see a year lol. Star has been more successful than any team in the last decade. Long term this happens all the time with the dominance of Honda in the 80's, PC Kawis long time dominance, ktm, then yamaha, and recently honda until this year.
It must be a mental thing as I know Dax has the skills to run up front. I've been waiting and waiting for him to show up to the ability I know he's capable of but it just hasn't happened. I met his Dad and he raised Dax with both supercross and outdoor tracks from a very young age so Dax definitely has the experience and skills, but he's just not showing up on race day.
I remember hearing something that about how he was struggling with Arm pump really bad in outdoors this year? Definitely a head scratcher because his SX season as a rookie was solid, nothing incredible but he had a few moments. I really thought he was going to open some eyes outdoors this year.

That’s a good way to not have a ride. Dax knew the meat grinder he was trying to go to when he took the handshake deal for futures. Didn’t he have a offer from KTM to go pro too but took the gamble on a handshake deal with Star?
If he doesn’t get it done on Star, he sure as hell wouldn’t have gotten it done on KTM’s 250 team.
That’s absolutely fucked that they’re not letting him ride SMX. Getting benched for a national is whatever, but missing out on all that money from SMX is messed up.

Yes, he had his deal with KTM and could have stayed, but back then Star had the better bike.
