I would think it's hard enough to focus on your start in a line up like that much less having some cameras and a bitc, sorry, some woman standing in front of you dropping rocks in your starting rut right before that gate drops. That was just crazy...

I don't know how anyone could think that was funny. This is a serious sport for those guys. Could have caused all sorts of problems. Traction loss for 1/2 sec. on the start line is major. Could have thrown a rock back and struck another rider/person. Any one of a hundred different things could have happened. What if one of those rocks got between sprocket and chain? Super-stupid.

I was laughing, thinking how stupid she was by doing that. Not too bright!

We do need TV and to have the camera up close, but shouldn't someone from the promoting party to watching them to make sure they don't do stupid stuff?

The mechanic or riders are not allowed to got over the gate, but when the TV crew does something as dumb as they did yesterday, I wish they could have and just lite old Erin up, right there during her "track facts".

1.She was in front of his gate too close to the gate dropping.
2. She was dropping rocks in his starting line.
3. My first thought was, "oh man, I wonder if this is going to mess with his concentration?"
4. Of all the places to do the tv stuff, in front of the starting gate a few seconds becore it drops is not one of them.
