I wonder if the GNCC would pull in more spectators than the MXON would. The GNCC is just a party for all us indiana locals (theres a lot, i live 25 minutes from the track, and a lot of the farm boy crowd goes to drink beer, party, and stand at the hill. not really core fans that just show up for one event. Hell a majority just think its a one done event, and dont even know about the whole GNCC series around here.)

Sounds like how the Coombs got their start with the Blackwater 100 and look where they are now. At one time they had half the state of WV wading in waist-deep mud to pull bikes up a hill and now they're the Moto Mafia.

Just goes to show what you can do if you put your mind to it, so maybe the Ironman GNCC guys can go rogue and start their own empire.

I understand that - I meant the locals he was talking about - and was just trying to be humorous since his description reminded me of the Blackwater scenes.

Is Deegan or anyone else going to do that massive huck he was doing last year?

Edit: Or will they move it out to make it undoable?

I hope to see more dudes cracking that jump this year

Did they move the start so it will be ready for the Des Nations next year?

It would be sick if he does it again. And he would be the only one to do it i think. When Marv was on gypsy tales, they talked about that and how 450 guys talked about it but no one did it until haiden, some details may be wrong.

Deegan and Beaumer both jumped it today during Press. Burkeen caught it on his video. I was really thinking they were going to take the jump out. Should be interesting if they leave it in tomorrow.

Why would they take the jump out?

Always good to finish strong imo.

Why would they take the jump out?

9 whoops, removal of multiple big jumps in SX after press/practice. Can’t remember if there have been any specific track changes outdoors, but I feel like there has been something. I just figured if only a handful of guys are doing it they would eliminate for “safety”.

Also, why in the world is the start almost identical to budds creek, haven't they learned? And on the Deegan's press day vid, Brian said they added a bunch of 180's that won't make for much passing. I hope this track still has options to pass.

They wouldn't change the double before the finish, the finish and the double after. Those have been there for a while I think.

If they really wanted to improve the viewing for the fans, they could make it a flat dirt oval.🥱

Maybe some things aren't worth the tradeoff?🤔

I dunno, they already have a larger uphill triple than the one that was removed and this created more standing room for the crowd. You’re being a bit dramatic, in my opinion. The big booter they put in to take its place is just as fun to watch.

No hes obviously asking which one is “larger than the one they took out” as you said.

Anyways the new woods section looked pretty cool imo, adds a whole new element to the track and kind of gives it a washougal vibe. It really changed up the look and feel of the track a lot. I didnt expect that that would be the type of change that they added. Theyve really been changing the track a lot over the years, hopefully they have more of an idea of what they want to stick with now.

I must be misremembering then. I thought the Godzilla uphill jump had multiple landings or was at least a double.

Why would they take the jump out?

And they did... they shoved down the landing so no one could do it. I find it annoying when they shut jumps down just because they think it's too dangerous but we just saw 3 dudes do it on 250s no problem
