Sorry if I missed it posted. This is BIG news.
Seewer and Guadanini signed for next year and Cairoli to race the bike at the Dutch GP this year!!

Almost 200 consecutive gp appearances for Seewer, that's impressive.
The track at Arnhem is a rough one, but Im guessing the Vet rider TC will finish ahead of some factory riders...
Dude is 100% made out of rubber, he had some freaking insane crashes, idk how he walked away from those.
How?
love sewer and will be routing for him to get back on the box
i just hink he's not syncing with the kx for whatever reason

Cairoli was training at Lommel the past days. Probably finetuning his set up for the sand.
Jeremy Seewer. Rubber man, crashed with style, every time...
Rumor has it the Kawi doesn’t turn the way he wants it to…
Insane. It's not only the streak but he hasn't missed a single moto in his entire pro career that started in 2014.
At the moment he isn't on the list yet, but that could change fast. It would be an awkward place to debut their bike in the MXGP, after all most only racing hard pack. But then again I would like to see it!
I'm pretty sure I've seen some footage / reportage of AC and the Ducati at Sardignia. And, other sand tracks.
I don't think Antonio has any problem with Sand, or, setting up a bike for sand. He's an Italian rider who made damned sure he left the 'Hardpack' Specialist' tag behind him very, Very early in his career.
But, it will be a hard ask form him, being so very old and decrepit (that's a Joke, folks) - he's coming up on 39 in September.
Cairoli is a really good sand rider and i think he prefers the sand more then a real hard pack track..
Last year he showed up on a 250 on a Belgium international race when he was in charge for KTM. He looked really good and sharp and won in front of Coenen and Elzinga!
He looks pretty good on those video’s lately in the sand! Guess they both feel ready to give it a shot!
With solid start 5-10 could be possible!
Certainly and I will not be surprised if the oldman sneaks a podium.
There is no way that Cairoli gets on the podium with Herlings, Prado, Gajser, Febvre, Vlaanderen racing and performing as they should.
I think getting top 10 would be very respectable!
Cairoli at least was the only guy that was able to show Herlings a wheel in the sand or keep him in sight for some motos. They had some great battles. I miss that guy in the GPs, specially after watching him for like 16 years. Excited to see him again, doesn't matter where he finishes.
It’s a big win-win if Cairoli would line up again for the sport but also for Ducati to make their debut in MXGP racing! They will take allot of attention that weekend!
We all know Cairoli is still competitive, if he isn’t comfortable or feeling it he wouldn’t line up right? Not that he is aiming for a podium, but he isn’t their to ride around in P15 to “show” the bike.
It wasn't really about AC222, he's more than capable of riding the sand. But I'm thinking about the bike who's developed in Italy and raced mostly on harder tracks. I would've expected them to choose for a debut in Sweden for example. Because the bike will put in a total different position: high front and lower in the back, some tweaks on the engine... But I really hope to see it happen.
I guess it will be a kick ass bike if Jeremy Seewer wants to cut his pay check -60% to -70%, OK there wasn't a lot of options left for him with his mind set on leaving Kawasaki. He's been in a lot of teams, only becoming the second rider at HRC could've been the other option.
Looking at the current entry list it looks like only the regular GP riders have been confirmed for the moment. When i look at the MX2 list there isnt a single EMX250 rider on it even though there is no EMX250 at Arnhem, and i am sure a couple will do a wildcard. Bradley Mesters for example allready announced this and he is also not on the list.
Well, you're right for the most part on Seewer. But.. he hasn't been in a lot of teams. Suzuki during his MX2 career, Wilvo since his debut in MXGP and now Kawasaki for 1 year. I'm a big shocked as well that it didn't work out for him like expected.
Another option would be Standing Construct.
Pit Row
KRT hired him for Wordl champion. But this year result are horrible. He is 30 yo, so...
i guess you should do a bit of research on italian mx tracks......Riola Sardo is as bottomless as Lommel, and dispite having a little harder bottoms, Mantova, Alghero, etc. are all sandy tracks too.....
i am not an italian motocross expert, but i wouldn't say that italians are just hard pack racers....
p.s. Ducati first race was in Mantova, a sandy track, and Lupino won a moto.....
It's offically cairoli start in arnhem
Mantova is hard pack more than Sand track at Holland. Been riding both countries many times.
From short videos I have seen Cairoli riding sand bike doesnt seems to work that great yet but rider like him can put good results anyway.

Can't use the embed function for some reason...
I had the same issue yesterday. It appears that if you try to embed an Instagram video it doesn't work. If it's just a picture/pictures there's no issue when you embed the post.
I reported the problem. It could be a problem with Instagram itself just like the captions not appearing/being cut off.
Is it me or does the bike lookes to turn like a big ship.
7th. Not bad at all.
Cairoli did very well. You could see he could not last the entire race. But it was very good to see. And a very good looking bike as well.

He was running in 4th for a long time. Not bad for a soon 39 years old test rider.
Yup, he's 39 on the 23rd of September.
I had a bit of a 'hearty' when he looked like he was going over the bars (or, in Malinesque, Out The Front Door....) coming out of the 2nd corner.
Paul Malin said he'd missed a gear. I daresay he's right with that, but AC has had quite a bit of trouble with nerve damage from a shoulder / arm injury from a fair few years ago, and since then, he's had a bit of a tendency to sort of collapse forward with hits etc.
A Great first GP qualifier back for AC - I hope he does just as well, or even better in the 2 Motos, but, most of all, he stays safe.
The bike looks to work well, though, there'll be a few pundits here that find fault with it. With Ducati and Triumph going into the GPs , and the US Series with their 450s (and Ducati have a 250 coming) , well, it opens up a few extra rides, and that's More than a Good Thing!
Post a reply to: Cairoli to debut (in MXGP) 450 Ducati at Dutch MXGP later this year.
