If Shorty doesn't keep the HRC ride, it'll be a crime if he doesn't wind up on Team Suz or like , someone else said, the GEICO team with KDub. Either way, Andrew has GOT to wind up on a decent team. He's too good a rider, and to good of people to not be on a decent team.

Umm...calling this one is a toss up. 50/50 chance just depends on which side your betting on.

Short was on Suzuki as a pro.. 2002 he was #69 on a Suzuki RM125. I know for sure he was on suzuki in 03 as well. Not sure exactly what year he went to Honda though. I want to say 04 but not positive.. I know he won Houston on a Honda in 05.

Well if FC is sending Canard to Honda just swap Canard with Short. Short is a good rider but hasn't had the wins he should have. He is another on the long list that have fell victim to the RC, JS years. Trying to win with both on the track let alone one is near impossible. Also with Reed riding supercross so well most of those guys are fighting for the 3rd place spot on the box.

I'm gonna say Factory Honda is Canard and Pourcel, and Short will be on a Honda sat team. Milsaps is on his own.

And you're still wrong. He raced his first couple of years with Motoworld Suzuki.

Short is solid, seems like a great guy. I think he needs some different motivation, someone to get under his skin and take him to the next level.

I'm guessing he goes elsewhere. Honda does go for personable, consistent riders, but they also want those riders to have the potential of growing into winners. Shorts seems like a great guy, but he's probably @ or just past his peak & will most likely never get to the pace of Dungey, Villo, Stewart or Reed. Honda at least wants that prospect in thier riders (picking up Canard for example), regardless of how personable & consistent they are.

Short was a team green rider as an amateur right up thru winning the 2001 125 A Pro Sport at Loretta Lynns and raced a few of the mx nats after LL's that year.

I heard some rumblings that Andrew will be just fine next year, and back in the same semi.

I gotta go with iceman...he's not the only good solid rider that had to play 3rd, 4th, 5th fiddle behind the superhumans. Maybe the teams and sponsors feel that what their riders DON'T do is important to the 'brand' also. Shorty hardly ever steps on his dick...he's a fan fav...fairly well spoken...money well spent. If he were just bustin' the top 10 it might be a different story. Good luck to him.
