MX1: I go with Cairoli barring mechanical failure. MX2: Osborne. In all honesty, Cairoli on a GP designed track is hard to beat. That being said someone els can get lucky, just like what happened to Stewart in Europe...someone got lucky!!

So getting passed around the outside while cornering on the footpegs is lucky?

Well, I think I'll put my $$$ on Cairoli or Desalle in MX1, as I think Glen Helen will suit them the best. But I'm rooting for Ben Townley, just to bad he probably won't have the stamina just yet.

It will be interesting to see what Brock Tickle and Max Anstie can do against the GP contenders. Even more, it will be very interesting to see Searle/Rattray versus the best MX2 GP-riders (aka their old competitors).

That's what so cool about a race like the USGP!

One thing I've learned during the 25 odd years I've been following Motocross, is that unless Ricky Carmichael is racing nothing in guaranteed. I can speculate as to which riders stand a good chance at Glen Helen, but I can't pick a winner. Which is only a good thing.

Then kept saying " we did what we had to do" after the race (which turned out right, but he didn't know at the time as places were changing all the time) Man he looked pi$$ed after getting spanked,

MX1 Nagl

MX2 Roczen or Musquin, even IF anyone AMA shows up,difference being that the Euros can go as fast, and often faster at the end of the Moto's which are i think 3 laps longer, look at Pourcel's fastest laptimes, often in the main/2nd Moto even when the tracks are rougher

There's still time for Mike to find an excuse to not race.

Alessi, AC, Townley

Searle, Roczen, MM

just my guess.

I want Tommy to win it in the MX2 class.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Bubba on a KXF 450 and TC on a YZF 250? Hmm.

I think Blackops original post was referring to Pourcel beating Stewart at Donington in '08 after Stewart crashed, and mxady's reply was about Everts beating him at Matterly in '06.

If Strijbos hadn't dropped it while lying around 4th position in that race the overall might have been very different. Whistling

yes ha ha to close to call in either class! I really should add Osborne to MX2 he is flying and will be racing on his home turf- big chance for him to show the US teams what they have missed. And I bet he is looking for at least a podium.
zach has been gone to long, i dont think it will help him much

1)Alessi will win GH against anyone besides BUBBA and RV.

2)Roczen

Also GL8 has finished on the podium at every GH national hes raced.
I remember cheering him on in 01 on his way to a 1-1 sweep. Hes fast as hell.

Cairoli Searle If you havent seen the video of searle on Vurb you should watch it.
http://www.vurbmoto.com/theatre/698/dc-shoes-private-pala-practice/
And i have a feeling if Cairoli beats Allesi, tony is gong to make up excuses saying Cairoli is running better equipment. No doubt that will happen.
