I would say so, with having Chiz doing the base line set ups, and their resources for parts for the bike. Again I just think he is mentally done and won't except he is not as good on a 450. Being as far back as he was in Motocross on that bike and Noreen being solid on the Kawi I think it is more rider than bike...
Shane did his best work on a Yamaha 250, I wonder if there is a spot on a private Yamaha team next year?
In the 450 class…in Supercross…
How many riders finished every main?
How many riders scored points in every main?
just needs to stick his butt out like a girl and unlock his hips and he will win

And it may have been a mudder, but he did get 4th in a SX this year. He's got skills, just something either physically or mentally holding him back.
Either way, stoked Bubba's team gets another higher caliber rider.
He was better on a box stock Yamaha a few years ago at Millville. I thought he’d be a solid top ten guy in supercross and outdoors no ifs ands or buts.
Qualified 11th at his 1st race…at Unadilla…& just a coupl’a days on the MADD Parts Kawasaki .
Interesting.
Obviously a T&S error.😄
His 2:17 lap was pretty good. He’s 5 seconds back from Chase, 3 seconds back from El Hombré. Pretty good start for a dude that just changed teams.
If he has some good results for these last few Nat’s, he’ll improve on his SMX o/a points…and gain some confidence going into the SMX finals…where there’s a bit of money on the line.
I was kidding, of course. I gave him props and said essentially the same thing in the qualifying/sewing circle thread.😃
Hoping he has a safe day with good results!👍
Just goes to show that Shane can put in good times with very little time on a bike. Also shows that its very mental with him. Just go out there and ride and stop thinking about this and that. Would not be surprised to see him get a good start today
