Not my favorite track to watch, last year it was pretty one lined. Hopefully we have some better weather this year! Can Herlings close the points gap even more?

Sure hope the weather is better this year, because I will be there this weekend 😁
Some rain expected for Friday but rest of the weekend should be dry...

Looking at the Herlings of last weeks, and with some top 5 starts, I expect him to win the GP

Herlings has made this championship interesting and I expecting him to close the gap in points pretty quickly. One can see he has that confidence back and will be flying again in Sweden.

Vebvre will soon be in the mix again...hoping he gets stuck in this weekend.

And Vlaanderen, he needs starts...and needs to find the next step to match the top 3.

Praying for a 1-1 from Herlings. He's flying now and just needs a bit more luck on his side to pull that off. Loving seeing the points gap come down and make it an interesting end to the season!

Uddevalla is so hard to make passes on so starts will be everything going by previous years. That said, S. Coenen and J. Prado might look forward to the weekend with confidence. Hopefully less static racing this year but my hopes aren’t high for any overtaking in mx2 and mxgp.

My least favourite race of the year, its a bit of a goat track almost as bad as Teuchenthal.

But so on the Herlings train. 1-1-1 is what we need.

He said he was testing parts at Hawkstone that might help him in the GP's but didnt say what they were.

He said on the last podium GP that they were testing something that would hopefully help his starts so assuming engine/mapping change? His starts at hawkstone were good so fingers crossed!

Hopefully they made some track changes or doing a good prep! Racing hasn’t been that exciting the last couple off times. Feels like the old layout and wayaround was a better way off racing!

Prado has to make this one happend and seal the deal with a 1-1-1 on a “start” track like this. But who knows, he also got 3 holeshots at Loket and didn’t win any!

Gajser has to make a statement here right! Gain points or stay equal. The thing he doesn’t want is to loose points on 1 and 84 again and be under pressure at the next sand race! Gajser has show in the past he can crack and crash under pressure.

84 is a wildcard in this,he will go all in both moto’s till the checkers. Who will crack first?!

If the track is anything like last year I'd say Prado has pretty good chances.
A single pass in the top 10 all moto.

That is brutal. Lets hope this years track develops better.

If Herlings goes 111 for the rest of the year and Prado and Gasjer get all seconds and 3rds can he mathematically win the championship? What's he 36 off?

Yeah, but last year was really one lined due to the rain. As said by a few already, hopefully some track changes

Damn! Is that seriously just one single pass made in the top 10? That's insane. 😂

Yes he will win! He is 36 off. If he goes 1-1-1 and Prado and Gajser will go 2-3/3-2 on the GP he will gain 42 points. Not counting the points on Saturday.

Track absolutely sucks, so sad to have ”my” home GP at that place.

Was there last time in the Pichon/Everts era 😄

For someone who is no track-expert: Are there any ways to make a track easier to pass on (without changing the whole layout)?

Make it wider, damn mxgp tracks too narrow. I dont get  it why most of the tracks are so narrow.

Are there better tracks in Sweden that could hold the event though?

Updates on track looks very promising, but a lot of rain today so the start practice was canceled. But tomorrow and Sunday looks all sunny

Yes but no one is close to be able to figure out all the logistics part and to have a big crowd

We arrived today and all day rain indeed 💩

So curious how the track is shaping up tomorrow.

For tomorrow and Sunday we take our shorts!

...if the track is heavy I might know of a Dutch guy on a Yamaha who might do pretty well in MX2...

He has led the team well, when he was always supposed to be the 3rd guy.

Elzinga stepped up really well, especially since he almost got no off season with first a shoulder injury from last year as a broken back in the first week back! Getting better and fitter each race!

Same as with Vlaanderen, they really carry the Yamaha flag this season and keep progressing! Guess this will give them a nice contract for next season right?!

Bonacorsi was expected to be nr 2 over Elzinga?

The Kemea teamboss said a few months ago Calvin had an option that kicked in if he was top 5 in points,so yeah i think he gets a nice deal.

As for Elzinga, i can see him getting a deal at yamaha with '25 being his last mx2 year and his results and not sure which better option there is. Just cant imagine its a fat deal tbh.  I dont think there is a big fight for his services which doesnt help his case.
