I really hope Deegan is on a 450 next outdoor season.

He finished first moto 24th, don't remember him seeming to crash on live timing at least.  

Not the smart thing to do yet. He needs to learn and grow and get more experience.

Sounds like you did figure out the thing. A lot of people like that in the 250 class. Plenty of people with speed when they have a clear track but only a few guys like RJ and Deegs who will just push and chip away every moto if they're not up front early.
