Chad Reed and i r going to spearhead this, we r going to b very vocal and r going to make this great sport as safe as possible. we already have as host of top riders on board, the media and MX Sports support already, enough is enough!!!
Good luck to you guy's.
I always wondered why the AMA say's protecting riders and their rights but doesn't protect any riders in Pro racing.
Great to hear! Good for you guys.

This is something that should of happened a long time ago.
First, so sorry about Andrew. I have read and heard nothing but good things about him and my heart goes out to his family.
Second-having a voice and representation for the professional rank of riders could not be more important. I believe that years ago a journeyman pro tried to organize something (Brian Strong??? I know someone here will help me out) and he got blackballed right away. It will take riders of your stature, along with Reed, to really make something happen. Pro riders need LEADERSHIP and the two of you are the right people to create an organization like other pro sports. You all are PROFESSIONAL athletes, and a union is critical in order to protect the riders in every way (salary & purse $, safety, input in other areas). Best of luck, and best of luck this summer.
hope you get all the support necessary to make this thing work
I always said that the only way something like this would work is if big names were on board and that the primary focus was safety, not money.
Seems like you have those covered
Good luck

I'm surprised at all the supportive comments here. I guess all the anti-union morons that post here must only play in Non-Moto? Either that, or accusations of being "lazy" and/or "crybabies" must only apply to working class union members? I suspect it's probably the latter.
BUT, Strength is not in numbers. It is in the top riders hands in this case. The promoters don't care about the privateer. That guy is just a field filler and they know that guy will line up no matter what. . The problem is you can't have a cheese ball pull a Emig and buck the system. If the top 10 guys all buy in and say F U we are not riding this bullshit track then the Promoter has no choice but to listen. But if you get 3 or 4 pieces of shit like Emig and use it as there chance to win a main or a Moto (in the name of there sponsors of course) then there will be problems.
GREAT to hear .!!
I know you and Chad have the balls to stand up to whatever resistance and political BS you encounter with this endevour.
It's about time riders safety and well being is the #1 concern , head and shoulders above everything else.
Good luck this summer as well. Looking forward to seeing you tear it up out there.
I was just watching the CBS coverage today and noticed that those crashes are their bread and butter. They love showing (to them highlights to me low lights)highlights of the huge crashes. They showed RV's twice in one highlight real. The drink beer and cheer for crashes crowd seems to be what feld wants to appeal to so what you guys are doing is going to be tough. I really hope you guys and others can change that
Ditto on the comment about the guys on here bashing unions in the past. Funny how it's different in MX I guess.
