Easy answer is Deegan.. and I can’t stand him. But he is the best 250 rider..

Vialle won back to back MX2 world titles, but now you see posts that he only won because Geerts gave it to him…. That’s like saying Jett only won because Chase tucked the front too many times…. JFC people. Then Vialle goes back and beats them at MXoN. Give Tom the credit he’s earned as a 2 time WC.
Tom said last year that the AMA 250 class is no joke and he thinks stronger than MX2.
But, unless they race a series, we won’t know… I don’t like the results of a 1 off event used to claim who’s best…
Come on! The Geerts/Vialle situation can't be compared to Jett v. Chase.

Is that entirely wrong though. Geerts seemed to be the faster rider clearly.
In your opinion…. I watched those seasons and occasionally Geerts had speed on Tom, just like occasionally Chase has speed on Jett. Tom won and Jett won.
if the race was in Europe id give it to de wolf, if in the USA Deegan, the tracks are getting very different now,

Last year Hunter was easily better than vialle nearly everywhere in the nationals , but just mxdn vialle was long gone

Sounds like he want to race this year now that Star have said that they will support it again.
Funny how it works with the teams saying that they won’t support it when the rider don’t want to race but as soon as a rider want to they are all in again…

Hopefully they are still working on the integrated races. Single races where both series race together and points are paid to each series...
Have you seen De Wolfe ride the sand? Guessing not.
Seems to me the des Nations at Matterley Basin is probably the most neutral grounds to find out. Plus when you mix in at least one of the Coenen brothers, the big winner is going to be the fans.

There just isn't any way to know. We need a race mid season for both (Not post-season MXON) where we can see what they've got.
Maybe Deegan smokes him and pulls 15 seconds on him at the end of a moto.
Maybe De Wolf goes full Herlings at Ironman and makes the entire class look like they are B riders.
We end up using MXoN as the measuring stick because we have nothing else... I don't like it, a one off, non points race doesn't tell the story. But it's what we have to work with so I get why it's always the talking point.
Makes me miss the few years we had some USGP.

The same people who think wolf would win are the same ones who said he wouldn't do shit at southwick. He uses his haters for motivation.
By next year this could say Lucas vs Deegan. In America I’ll give it to Deegan in the GPs probably still Deegan but maybe DeWolf. I don’t think absolute raw speed De Wolf is the quickest in the GPs where Deegan definitely is over here.
