That first moto was amazing. And then he pressured Vialle into that crash. Masterful performance.

The scrub in the 2nd start of the 2nd moto was gnarly! Lucky he was able to save that one!
Jett and Deegan both were 6th overall in their first visits to the Wick. They both won their 2nd visits.
450 class is going to get good. Soon.
His schtick of “the haters” is getting old.
I think his dad does what I used to do at the line: see that kid down there Haiden?
I heard him talking to his dad and said you were a chump and he was going to whip you.
That other boy said you were a F*&&OTT!
That kid has so much desire to WIN! Really fun to watch.

JT nailed it. He rides like he came from and has nothing. He has a raging fire in his gut.
I think his dad said "your mom and I dedicated our lives to help you become successful. You've put in the work as planned. Now go out there and gitrdone son!"
That was JS7, I believe. But, yeah.
I think you are right. James introduced the idea and then JT expanded on it.
lol I thought it was AC, now you both have me confused
Already is good
Yeah, Haiden has totally won me over. I wasn't a fan, but his will to win is so much great and his riding is just very inspirational to watch... not like Jett and Chase, but inspirational in an aggressive racing way.
Also, if you disregard some of his negatives on the podium he looks happy and speaks from his heart.. compare that to some of the robots that get to the podium and rattles of the sponsors names.
Go Haiden!
Racing to win like his rent is behind and he needs the money!
And that was after crashing, getting up, and then reeling in Vialle from 10 seconds back. If I'm Vialle I'm super bummed on that performance considering Southwick was supposed to be his track. I was hoping for more out of Vialle this year. I know there's a lot of racing left and anything can happen but right now Deegan is dominating.
And that super scrub was f'ing gnarly. Did any photogs get a good photo of that wall hanger move? That had to be pretty deflating for Kitchen. That was some JS7 type of shit.
Great ride !! Anybody notice before the start looks like his mechanic giving him smelling salts ? Weird guess it gets him charged up !!
I didn't see that but I did see him drinking what appeared to be some purple looking juice.
Purple drank?!
After seeing how loose he was on his super scrub it very well could have been some purple drank.
Pit Row
It was in the first moto at 7:57 time on Peacock.
He reminds me of Eli on gieco Honda. Fuckers never out of the race. It’s amazing. 🇺🇸
Kitchen has been the bigger disappointment to me than Vialle
What Haiden has done in the last 5 minutes of his motos this year has been remarkable, if not almost unprecedented.
Yep, very Chupacabra'ish.
The one thing he has over most competitors is the absolute desire to win which you cannot teach, which is amazing given he has never struggled in life, he's not out there trying to provide for anyone only desire to be the best.
His motivation is to silence the haters, the more hate he gets the more he tries, the haters literally feed this kid.
His determination is very RC like, he even crashes and gets up from them like RC did.
Kitchen has never been the guy I don't think he ever will be, it's funny because 2 months ago there were people on here saying he's the next one to have something for Jett, when Deegan has always been the one to look out for.
Off the bike I’ll probably never be a fan, admittedly I like the guys who just let their riding do the talk. On the track however, there’s no denying the kid is putting in the work and earning his way. Considering where he came from it’d be easy to get spoiled and not grind. Only thing I would add is on the whole “wait till he comes for Jett”. His Barcia esque style on the 250 may not translate well. But then again he could be the next guy that rides the 450 kind of like ET which would make for interesting racing. 🤔
Does Haiden do the same training program with the same trainer as the rest of the Star guys? His fitness seems so much better than everyone else out there
Not in the least bit. Bagget would cruise around in the top 10 and move to the front after half way. DNGR Douche goes like hell the whole time and almost died.
It’s like Eli and J Mart got together in 14-15 and made a baby.
Exactly, that was the only comparison I could come up with... But Deegan's gains are even more extreme.
