Said he would be up for racing the GP, all depends on injury healing. He is in FL. not riding GH today like MXA reported, looked really excited to race. Has new NIKE shoes coming out soon.
Also is not signed with L&M for next year.

He still has not been cleared to ride, has not done any outdoor riding/testing, yet he "confirms" he will be in for Hangtown?

I don't get it.

His exact words were that he would love to race the GP, but that he is really looking forward to riding Hangtown. He is expecting to be cleared next week.

He said he will know in a week or two. Nothing was confirmed tonight. People hear what they want to hear.

A Stewart/Canard team would be okay . . . Red Bull fits in well there.

Sounds to me like he's between contracts and can do whatever the hell he wants.

This from the guy with "gooner" in his profile name.....dude put the bong down James can still win it all with very little testing and if he does race hangtown you'll be eatin some crow.....you don't forget how to go that fast.....and forget about the crashes too moron he will dominate if he chooses to run the series.....maybe not 24-0 but the #1 plate will be his if he wants it.

I watched the whole livestream with him, and he answered every question without skirting around the answers. He seemed really hungry to race again. He paid respect to Dungey, and said until Dungey gets beat, he is the best right now. Just my take on it, but I got the feeling he is chomping at the bit.

Lots of haters were posting shit questions to him also, and he just was very cool. Didnt phase him one bit.

He said NIKE has a secret product kitchen where they cook up new stuff, and he said that he never knows when something will come out. When I asked about NIKE MX gear.

I had started to write James off, but my bet is he will be on that Hangtown line like he said.

In a dream world James would sign with Honda, Decoster would come back to manage the team and James would put all the distractions on a back burner and go all RC on the rest of the world for a couple of years. And I'm not even a Honda fanboy. Just something "right" feeling about moto when Honda is dominating and everybody else is gunning for them Smile

2 that. The lack of concrete answer from Stew and the huge amount of BS around him have made me choose to ignore everything around him. If he shows up, great.

What is this live stream thing?

Sounds promising though! Would be awesome just to see him out there racing more, he must be going nuts. Guessing it would be therapeutic for him just to keep himself busy racing! and winning.

24-0 isn't really stretching expectations either seeing how Villopoto is out now. Outdoors I think Villopoto was the only one who had a realistic chase of keeping "pace" with James.

Even he has said he doesn't expect to go 24-0!

I don't think he "expected" it in 08' coming off an injury. I think if he really wants another 24-0 he better do it now before Villopoto is back and Pourcel moves up. With a crash on the start I don't think Dungey will be able to handle Stewart outdoors.

A part of me thinks Josh Grant is going to be the guy on fire this season, or Bubba's biggest worry if he does ride all the rounds - which from what I gather is unlikely anyway.

He certainly didn't answer every question. He picked the ones he wanted to answer and avoided all the rest. He was asked (repeatedly) if healthy would he do all the nationals?
No response and a lot of people are wondering about that very thing.
