I agree with Chris Ridgeway about his choice of Josh Greco -
I grew up in Southern California, three miles from Ascot Park, I raced and got involved with CMC from 1976 until 1990, I was the chief official for the number one MX PRO-AM series in the United States, and have seen the best of the best since then until now, I have officiated over two thousand events and have had the opportunity of knowing, meeting and associating with thousands of racers and many champions from many different racing disciplines.
I am the current Chairman for the AMA Southern California Championship Motocross Series, the only AMA motocross series in California where I have had the privilege of knowing Josh and his family on a regular basis over the last three years - HE IS THE REAL DEAL and has more drive and positive attitude than ANY RACERS that I know currently. I will put him in the potential category of a Bob Hannah and Jeremy McGrath if he was to be put on the right equipment.
Being from Sacramento and been racing since he was five years old (several peewee and mini championships to his resume), many Southern Californians haven’t heard of Josh, but the word is out now and his fan following is growing, but he will always remain a hard working, humble, thankful and sincere racer.
I am also in one of the local Southern California desert clubs and two years ago, we all invited Josh and his family to come and race a desert race. They chose the 100s MC National and Josh was just 15 then, racing as an intermediate in motocross. He jumped on his dads 2005, clapped out CRF450X and from the second starting line finished first ammie and 30th overall against some of the best desert racers in the world - Josh at that time only weighed in at 115 and was only 5'5".
The last year since he got his Pro license at 16, he has qualified for both California Nationals (Glen Helen and Hang Town) and made the night program for the AMA Supercross Series racing the West Coast lites - ALL on his 2006, totally used up CRF250r where his family is doing everything to get him to the track and keep his bike going.
Now at 17 and one of the youngest racers on the PRO circuit as a privateer, I guarantee this WILL be one of those rags to riches stories. Who ever takes a chance on this hard driven, hard working young man from Hesperia will not be sorry.

I am reallly hoping for the help on this one, i could really use it more than a lot of other riders. my family is struggling to get me to the races and keep my 06' honda 250f running. This season of outdoors i am planning on racing 450's but if i dont get help either with this ride or someone helping out getting a new bike im going to end up riding a 05 honda 450. I just really want to see what i can do on a fast bike, I know if i have the bike i can show the results and get a good finish on it so i can get noticed and a little more support.
So if i do end up getting this ride for the opening round i would like to thank everyone that has mentioned my name.
And if i dont get chosen hopefully someone will help out

If you haven't figured it out in this sport there so many guys, who have rides, not cause there fast, cause they knew someone or there daddy is a someone.
I have seen what he has accomplished without, and can see in forcast what he is capable of doing with, thru sheer determination, hard work and confidance - for a lad of seventeen years old, he has a focus that of a very seasoned, successful PRO veteran.
Just spoke with USAs Billy Hamill yesterday, the 1996 WORLD Speedway Champion and he will offer Josh a speedway ride if the right MX support doesnt happen soon. Like I said before, he is on the brink of stardom and those that get involved with him will surely attract a bunch of good attention. CJ
