Yes his dad is from Israel and his mom from Uganda. 

Stav Orland, the middle of three very fast brothers all from Kampala, Uganda. They have been racing the South African Championship for years now.

Stav's dad was a fighter pilot for the Israeli airforce and is still heavily involved in the pilot training program.

Stav never qualified for Pala but as soon as he settles into the US program he will be knocking at the top 20 door. Give him a couple of races.

PC are doing his engine packages and they always have 4 new motors on hand with the 5th at PC...they will rotate them engines.

Caled Tennant ( 6 x SA Champion) whom I wrenched for for 13 yrs is over-seeing the "African" rider program.

Marcus Phelps and Slade Smith ( South Africa) - Slade's dad, Wayne Smith is a 13 time South African Champion.

Edit - Stav is the middle brother....look for multiple (current SA Champion) Tristan Purdon (450) who is dipping his toe in the US scene. He is the current leader of the Scottish Championship 

When you're that quick outta the gate...you can call it whatever ya want.

Damn...this 450 class is loaded and I'd love to see a combined MXGP and AMA round very year. 

Sure sounds like they are working on it...  I think there should be one mixed in to each series.  So one in the US and one on the GP circuit.

I am really impressed with Mookie’s outdoor speed so far. The guy hasn’t raced this series in a decade and he’s looking really spicy early on.
