I think we could still buy RM250s in around 2011 here in OZ?
And they weren't 'left over stock' - well at least not for the Shop or Importers, but perhaps they were for the Suzuki Factory.
Wish I had bought the last one on the floor at Western Motorcycles in Penrith. I think that was around Jan 2012.
I keep thinking of getting a current YZ, but with time off with knee replacements, it would just 'sit', so I'm thinking of whatever version of the Fantic300 that will be available once I'm ready to ride a lot again, and whatever the Big Companies come out with in response to Stark.
Yeah not sure what year they stopped selling in Oz, but they were definitely around a lot longer here than elsewhere. I remember riding a mates brand new 07 RM250 and grieving the take over of the cheater bikes.

Great to see that you skipped the rmz front end that people ruin their bikes with and nice to see a pro rider on a two stroke without trying to blow it up in front of the camera.
For those of us that don't habla Francaise, can you tell us what he thought of the bike. I was really glad to see a resto that wasn't completely over the top and done almost all yourself.
Dunno, but if you want a great cone pipe from world championship quality: PPS (previously SPES) won few titles with Jan de Groot.

What happened to the raw stock pipe you had in the start up video? Treat watching Anthony rail that bike around the corners she sounded crisp. All these RM builds has me wanting yellow excels for my 04 badly
FMF (BarX sponsor) told me that the pipes were on backorder and they didn't have a timeline for them so I got a stock one restored. It finally got to my house a couple days before trying the bike so I put it on. I thought it was a Factory (raw) coming in but it was this one. I still have the raw stock one restored by www.frontrangepiperepair.com who did a great job with it!
