We need actual battles, sure there were battles but the second half was boring. We can say that webb and eli got tired. I just want outdoors to get here so eli can unleash himself fully, not whatever this shit was today.
Did you watch outdoors last year?
Be careful what you wish for. Jett is better at mx than sx. I'm hoping for a competitive season but I'm just saying
Jett is going to smoke everybody outside again.. unless he gets a extremely bad start or has a mechanical… hes the 3rd rider in history to have a perfect outdoor season… sooo yeah lets stay sx for awhile as its more unpredictable.
They got tired...
Outdoors isn't going to get any easier with it being 30 + 2 laps x 2 in hot and humid weather.

That depends on who lines up
Which some people want to discount, since it was a "weak" field, but Carmichael's first perfect season, and Stewart's only perfect season, were against Tim Ferry.
The only perfect season against a "strong" field was Carmichael's second against Chad Reed.
Got some bad news for ya...
Who do ya got we haven't seen yet? If the rest of the pack is tired now at 20 + 1, what do you think will happen with 2 30s?
Yeah but i fell asleep at almost all of them. Because they were boring, i have hope that this year won't be as boring.
Yeah, but who besides jett tends to do better outdoors? i would think eli and webb, and maybe chase. Masterpool will get most holeshots i would think.
& thts the scary part , when I’m analyzing him on my film studies I find it his skill set is way more suited for outdoors than SX cause u got more room / track to work with on a outdoor moto track , add in the lil breaking bumps & rollers he can just hop around the track with his balance
Drama queen 😂🤦♂️
Jett literally just had a perfect season in mx lol… Careful what you wish for.
This sx season has been friggin awesome. This one race wasnt as great as some of them but the vast majority of races this year have been exciting and way more than was expected after jett had his perfect season.
This has been one of the more exciting seasons. Were you around for the dungey years? That was painful at times. We went from rv winning 4 in a row to dunge winning 3 in a row, since then a different guy has won the season every year. This season has been great.
Not going to matter if you’re wanting a battle for the lead. Jett will dominate again. Maybe if Tomac turns back the clock one round he can beat him. Maybe.
Jett is extremely lucky (before you down vote keep reading) being born when he was. Obviously not anything anyone can do. It just is what it is. Same way Windham was extremely unlucky to be born between McGrath and Carmichael.
Jett is dominating his first full season on the 450 and he’s 20 years old. The only people remotely challenging him are in their upper 20s or early 30s and will be gone soon and/or have already taken a step back. I am not sure how anyone can argue Sexton has challenged him at all now with a full SX and MX season under our belts and he’s yet to pass him. But if we count him, he’s the only one that will be there awhile as he’s 24. Many of the guys on the 250 right now are already older than he is. They won’t touch him. I think Prado is the only one that will have a chance to. Imagine if Carmichael never had Reed to compete with and MC was just a little older. That’s basically how it fell for Lawrence. Can Prado be the “Reed” to come over and challenge him to make things interesting? Maybe. But Jett is already an all time great, he’s extremely mature for his age in that he’s already so strong mentally, and he’s got everyone covered in speed. Being born at the perfect time is what is going to allow him to challenge MC and RC’s records, and he’s in my opinion the first one since them that I actually felt could do it.
Webb is better at SX than MX.
Ferrandis did pretty well last summer on a bike that only got sorted towards the end of the summer.
Sexton should be great.
Tomac should do well if he races.
Plessinger is fast.
You also have Hunter and Justin Cooper moving up.
I don't think the nationals are going to be boring, even if Jett happens to run away with it once again.
At some times they may be boring yes, but there will be action. I just want eli and jett to battle for more than a section.
in my opinion I still think Eli has lost a step due to the injury he suffered at the age hes at but he had kinda shut me up a lil bit in recent weeks & Eli is still Eli at the end of the day , Jett knos how to handle chase but if Eli can do it , hes prolly the 1 thts goona unlock Jett’s tru potential. as we always say in MMA & boxing , it takes 2 to tango , I feel only Eli on the right day goona show the world wht Jett tru potential is cause we haven’t seen it yet
People said it about RC, then he did it even easier against a more stacked field as you said. Just shows all these perfect seasons were going to happen regardless of who was there. Andrew Short was 3rd in 08, and 6 years later in 2014 was still a top 5 guy with one of the heavier fields we’ve had. Alessi that got handled before he got hurt in 08 was HANDLING the 09 field with ease.
A perfect season is a perfect season
Pit Row
The beginning of this season was epic! Just wish the tracks could stay good and built for good racing. I’m getting ready to watch the replay of Philadelphia’s race but last weeks track was horrendous.
I think we will be in for something exciting at millville and/or redbud. Eli is awesome at those tracks, not saying jett isn't awesome there but I think eli will get some moto wins at some tracks.
I think Eli is in a tough spot. He's riding his best all season but his teammate has a chance to win the title. Last week Webb wasn't even close to him but this week he started right behind him and I think Eli backed off. Once he backed off and didn't have his flow he fell off the pace pretty far. I could be pulling all of this out of my ass. JMO. He wouldn't want to jump in for 22 motos unless he was feeling pretty good.
southwick too cause even when Eli had nothing for Kenny back in 2016 outdoors he still managed to sweep the motos at the wick
I think him falling off is due to not having a full offseason. I think right now his confidence is in the middle, not too high but not too low. I think he will do good the last two rounds and maybe win denver for redemption.
Fingers crossed for sexton being dialed in outdoors and having his focus there for about a month longer than Jett when they line up at the first round.
Undefeated Season 2.0
The only ones that could line up and make it different than last year are already committed to MXGP.
Are you suggesting Chase is not strong outdoors?
he looked plenty strong in ‘22..
Really? Who's going to line up that will beat Jett on anything approaching a regular basis?
Hunter might be a dark horse.
We’re not even sure if Eli is racing outdoors. I’d put my money on Chase to potentially give Jett some trouble as rumors are that he is faster outdoors on the KTM but it’s a new team, new bike etc. etc.
We may be gearing up for an even more boring season than SX 😂
