Might have something to do with Target joining on as a co-sponsor with Monster. Monster product and gear sold at Target is a big deal for Monster and will most likely help drive the stock back up imo....... if it's true?

Even more WWF-like

That deserves a PR announcing some "Big Announcement" and requiring the media day be moved?

That whole thing pisses me off and sounds far too contrived

I can't believe they had to have a 'special' press announcement about this.

I mean its great that Preston is getting a chance, but what a let down - I was
expecting bigger news than that.

The press conference isn't even over yet and everyone is jumping the gun.

So what was the "big announcement"?

I'd like to hear they're going to have SX's somewhere else besides Anaheim. Jeez...bring one back to Denver.

If you brought one to Denver, you'd have to have it late in the series because of the weather (both Mile High and Rocky stadiums are outside, I think). Then, you couldn't have it on the baseball field because it'd be too close to the season, which would leave you with a football field, and that just sucks. For year after year, in Houston we had one of the best tracks in the series inside the Astrodome because the floor was huge - then they moved it next door to Reliant Stadium, which has a small floor even for a football-only facility, and the tracks are just ridiculous. The tracks are so pathetic we're not even going this year.

If they bring Supercross to Denver and have it at Mile High, forget it.
