I feel like there aren't many reviews on these tires. I know Keefer and Dirtbike Test had a write up but nothing from Vital or MXA. What are the people who have ran them saying? What kind of terrain are you riding on, what direction are you using on the rear, tire pressure, performance, longevity, etc? I am interested in getting a bit more longevity out on the rear, especially out in the hard pack desert down here as the temps are climbing back up. The front looks very similar to a 3S. Any input or feedback is appreciated!
I just tried the front, I feel it's right between the 34 and the 3S better than the 34 on lean angle entering a corner but still not as good as the 3S
I’ve got a rear on the way, almost grabbed a front too but I like the Golden 90/90 up front enough to stick with it for now.
I bought the 80/100X21 AT82 and noticed it is taller than a 34 or a 3S. I looked to be sure I had the 80 and not the 90 by mistake and it was the 80. If you are sensitive to fork height, you may have to adjust to suit you.
I have been running a 110/100-18 on my 350xcf for 3 XC races. I mounted it on a Nitro Mousse NM18-325. I used to run the 305 mousse on AT81 and Starcross 5. Nitro Mousse guy Matt, thought the 305 would fit. I had over half my bead not seat. The 325 has been great!
So, 3 races in Texas XC, Over 52 Expert class, rocky, hard pack, good moist dirt, and sand. generally 3 laps of practice on Saturday, then I have been getting 4 laps (1.5- 1.75 hrs per race) on Sunday for the race. The tire has worked great! i always preferred the Michelins, the AT81 rear I felt was ok. this 82 rear is pretty bad ass! has me looking forward to trying the front. (I had just mounted a new starcross 5 front).
Wear? after those 3 races, "Hard/Int" side forward, it still looks good. I will get at least 2, maybe even 4 more out of this rear tire.
I am very impressed, and I had never really cared for Dunlops due to wear. I was going to try the 34's, but went with the 82 and I am happy.

This tracks with what I found on the rear, for offroad guys running mousses, they run larger inside,
I've used the rear for a couple rides/harescrambles now and have been super happy with it. Have it in the hard direction and was running 13 psi. Switching to a mousse this week and will see how it does.
Do you guys notice any difference between the hard/soft direction for the rear?
I have one set to the soft direction on my 2023 yz450f. Right now in Western New York the ground is soft with all the rain and this tire hooks really good. I can feel it slip or slide a little bit on the hard pack faces of a jump on the track but that’s usually latter in the day when it’s getting dusty. When you get it into the deep straight aways or corners the thing is amazing. Tracks nice and straight when your heavy on the throttle going up hills too. I’ll probably have to flip it around in a month or so once the ground starts to harden and there’s more hard pack. I have it paired with a 3s in the front.
