This is ridiculous. It was a reality show about one of the stars of our sport. Leave it at that.

Another thing, I thought the show was pretty good, but there wasn't as much about James, as there was about his brother, mom, and dad.... by the way, what language was Big James speaking. I couldn't understand anything he said...

If it was me with kind of money...I just think I'd want a little separation from my parents. I'm not in his shoes though.....

I agree... Was surprising how little they focused on James, sure it will come later in the season, but funny we get to know his Dad and bro more than the man himself.

I think he's in a tricky situation with this show just cause it doesn't really mesh with our sport, I mean all the stuff that would make for great TV would make him an asshole in the eyes of the straight laced MX community. Its almost like someone said 'lets make him the Bam Margera of motocross".

Gotta say though, if I wasn't an MX nerd, not sure how interesting that show would have been as there wasn't really much substance in that episode. Would be awesome if Fuel committed to season 2 and actually followed him through a race season, that would give the producers some real drama!
I agree with Burnside that to the true fan that already follows the sport a season of the show that followed him through a race season would be more appealing, that is unless Malcolm grabs another gear and really starts doing some funny stuff.

It was entertaining and a quick look inside at the life of a very talented and wealthy young man.

I think we get the point already that James has done well for himself, and he busted his butt to make his life a success, and his toys are his reward. But at the same time it doesn't automatically make above any criticism of the show or anything he does on the show.

Rolling downtown with 300K dollar cars in less then fortunate area's isn't really cool IMO.

If this is what he wanted to do when he took his break from MX thats cool.

Haha ."what language was Big James speaking". I think that every time i see him! They had to subtitle him for crying out loud. I was not surprised at all to see him giving his wife a hard time about furthering her education. He probably "lernt all da stuffa needa no"

I don't understand why if someone doesn't like JS they're instantly tagged as racist on here. That makes no sense to me. I don't like JS and not because he's black. I don't like him because he's allways seemed like a little punk to me. Sure I love watching him race and ride a bike. There's never been a racer with w/style like his and IMO as fast as him when he's on. But since his decesion to not ride outdoors I've had like two chances to watch him race in the last year so for me there's not much to like any more.

It's like that with anything, Dan. Don't try to fight it. Just lay back, and accept it.

Because disliking any rider isn't allowed... you should know that.

Humor, sarcasm, old fashion BS'ing, tailgate style is no longer acceptable either, fyi.

It is totally acceptable to have a sandy mangina... imho.

Just finished ep 1. Interesting staged rock star lifestyle. Wealth brings fun but nothing is real about reality television. Did I just hear Big James say James is "out of his envelopment" at X-games??? I went back and listened three times.

Loved it can't wait for more episodes. Yesterday was a kick ass TV day for us moto-heads. Jax Supercross,Inside the Outdoors, and Bubba's World. It's a good time to be a fan.

Thanks to everyone involved in all the shows. We're finally getting somewhere in the TV world.

And all you haters, slow your roll.
Half of the people on here would have nothing but high praise if it was Chad or RC being featured.

Comparing James to Mike Tyson was laughable at best. And then denying you made the correlation after your chose the term "those guys" made for a good laugh.

I'm really glad that most of you keyboard haters don't even ride or race, because the MX community in my area either doesn't contain people like you, or you hide in the back of the pits like you hide behind your keyboard. You old ass haters contribute nothing to the MX community or this board...

Uhhhh, was James talking about his dad taking a shit???

Awesome family.

Only criticism I would have is the blatant flash in an obviously poor neighborhood. A cool gesture would be to sell one car and build a rec center in that poor neighborhood... just one car, not all of them. Smile I think that would be cool, the area looked really poor. And I live in Africa.

Looks like they employ some people from the area though, which is awesome. Other than that they look like a cool family. Looking forward to seeing Bubbs at Hangtown and Malcolm turning pro. In fact I think Malcolm should line up at Hangtown for a Stewart double podium sweep.

nice to see the people of Vital will never change.

It was a 30 minute break. Some humor. No real meaning...no reality.

I may watch more. Not really a big deal either way.
