Austin is a good dude and a decent looking guy, but his choice of tattoos is pretty rough imo

Sorry if I have missed this but is there any ETA on when he will be able to get back on a bike?

He got lasik. 

Different strokes for different folks my man. 

That’s cool, I thought they wouldn’t be able to do it since he mentioned his eyes changed every year or so. Good for him to get that done.

One of the best things I ever did was get lasik.   26 years ago, couldn't read the largest letter on an eye chart without contacts or glasses.

Well I guess we got our answer, unreal he keeps coming back.

Deep down I believe he will win some Championships...and I wish him all the best for the upcoming outdoors.

I think this will be just last major bump in the road. He’s one of the most talented riders but just has been having shit luck. I agree he will definitely win some championships

I’m always shocked most of these guys don’t get LASIK that need it. I got it at one of the top places in this part of the country and it was only 3800 cash. I just assumed most of these would do it considering the benefits of it. I hated riding in contacts, even at a local race when my contact would jar loose it was sketchy, can’t imagine riding a sx track.

Not every eye condition can do lasik. My sister can’t get it done. 

My wife had it done and it didn't go so great. Followed with PRK...and it is what it is.

Its not a guarantee folks.

Thanks for the like Pops. I wish the best for Austin. He's a good young man and a hell of a talent and i wish him nothing but the best. 

His crash and the challenges of his eyesight are a reason to root even more for him, not to find fault and be negative.

He better get busy then if you feel he will win some championships because he's not getting any younger or smarter. Some say its just bad luck but with Forkner its a pattern of win and crash win and crash and then sitting on the sideline watching someone else bring home the championship.
