Lewis was asking riders how they’d grade their season today - how would you rate this season overall so far?

It’s a B for me, lots of ups and downs. Mud races, flip-flop results, close points..but somewhat mediocre racing for the most part imo

C. The mud races, sextons hand and Deegan drama ruined the first half for me

It's been pretty good so far with the exception of the two mud races. Alabama was sub par for me.

Still a load of racing left and things will heat up. One bad race for Jett will close everything up again.

Anderson needs to wake up.

Anderson needs to wake up.

So does eli, he needs to transfer his heat race speed and then some to the main.

C, the mud races, alabama layout, jett winning so much, which makes it boring, Deegan is the excitement the 450’s aren’t really giving me. I wish chase would stop letting jett by every chance he gets and battle to the death with everyone else. I just want mitch to win a title this season. I want eli to win a race, that will be somewhat a redemption story, but not as much as winning a championship from this far out.

It's good, still enjoying it, but the potential it had Vs the reality of it kind of skews it, it could have been a lot better.

I guess if grades go A to F, I'd probably also say C like the folks above.

Funny, if you did this the week before Daytona the ratings would probably be very different

I wonder what's going on with Anderson. He has the ability and speed to charge with the boys up front but the last few races seems like he is just circulating...

It was the closest season in years which everyone seems to want on here until.. yeah.

250s have been average there is no one that is a clear standout for a future 450 ride, apart from a couple of rookies.

mud races are the obvious negative, im sure that derailed a lot of riders momentum. fingers crossed for some better racing in the coming rounds. c+ so far

I love how close the points still are, but I feel there is not the same "fight" as I wished there would be.  Jett passing Eli and Chase at Daytona for example.  It's not just Jett though, outside of 250's and guys like Moranz and Tomac at Dallas, the guys just haven't seemed to fight for their position.  Maybe the level is so high there is no turning it up??  Hoping today's Triple Crown will bring the heat!

B minus...

The Good: Record amount of winners and tight points battle (still close with 8 races to go). No injuries amongst top 10 450 riders..Oops I forgot about Dylan. Beta and Triumph joined the fun.clint-eastwood-cowboy-fistful-dollars.jpeg?VersionId=5owVumViFBCKw5PpZH

The Bad: Unimaginative tracks (only 9 whoops, too similar in design), concrete, mud. Holeshot the race win the race.

The Ugly: The announcing (but I muted them 3 races ago), Austin Forkners crash.

B- for me.  Tight points early on, variety of winners and while the mudders aren't my favorite, they really shook up the results.

1st 4 weeks were exciting.    Loved the mud mixing things up and creating challenge.  Initial grade: A

It's gotten pretty dull after that including some really lame ass tracks.   Current grade:  C.

A+, this has been one of the most competitive Supercross seasons ever with multiple winners.  If this season isn't A+ then there's never been a A+ season.   The only one I can think of that comes close is 2006, when RC, JS7 and Chad Reed were within 5 points of each other going into the season finally at Las Vegas.   I was there that night and it didn't get any better than that.

An A for Supercross. Vital gets a C minus.

Probably B until now, but it seems like Jett found his groove over last rounds, I really hope we won't just see one guy on top for the second half of the season..

B+

Better than your average season but could still be better without the injuries and less repeat winners already.

Jett, Chase, Kenny, AP, and Coop winning through 9 races is unheard of...

We are at Round 10 of 17 and points are tight gives it an A+ from my viewpoint.

Pretty bad. Lots of mudders and a couple dry tracks that were terrible. The worst in recent memory for sure.

I thought the track layouts were night and day better last year. So for that reason I give it a C.

I actually didn’t mind the mud races at all and liked the mix up it caused in the points. The racing wasn’t great, sure, but it hasn’t been in the dry either. Hasn’t been much passing with the limited whoops and dog shit tracks where every rider can do every rhythm the same and there is no separation for anyone to pass or gain an advantage. The different winners has been cool but the lack of great racing has not. C+

edit: the Detroit and Birmingham tracks were probably 2 of the worst I’ve ever seen. However for the first time in a while the Daytona layout was great, just got too much rain.
