Last year at this point in the Championship JS7 was down 11 points to CR22 and came
back to win the SX Championship. Who do you think will win the 2010 SX Championship? This is not about who is your favorite rider, but if you had to put a bet down in Vegas right now, who would it be?

If i were going to bet I would go with Dungey because if RV wins and Dungey comes in second, Dungeys current lead compared to last year gives Dungey a two race lead over what JS7 had to overcome last year - and as we all know, anything can happen and this increased the odds of RV and RD not coming in 1st and 2nd.
I also think both Ryans are more evenly matched speed wise this year compared to Reed and JS7 last year. If Dungey gets a holeshot and pulls a 6 second lead, RV can't run him down as easily as JS7 could catch Reed last year.
as a fan all we can do is hope that the Championship isn't decided until after the 450 main at Vegas

Its a great season though and I can't wait to see how things change again when Bubba and Reedy return.
Best of luck to both of them.
No doubt, it would be RV. I think Dungey will show some more inconsistency and RV will get faster and keep his head on.
Villopoto is KILLING it right now. Even James acknowledged it.
It's been a great season, can't wait to see what happens with James and Reed back in the mix.
I say in Vegas, the odds have to be on RD5 to take it all and if so its not because RV is not as good but because its to much of a deficit to recover from with out some help/mistakes from RD that are worse than RV's mistakes.
Shit i don't know! Its all good though, the Ryans are class acts and at the top of the world right now
I would rather be in RV's spot than RD's personally... waaay less pressure, imho.
I'd bet on RD right now. That 17 pt cushion is huge.
Speed is essentially equal. Assuming no more BIG crashes/pts losses, RV has to win. RD can let the win come to him the next time he gets a start.
One other thing that i think may help RV here is , that RD has a problem of having little melt downs every once in a while when the pressure starts to build. I think he's matured a little over the past couple years , but i still see glimpses of it here and there.
The tighter the points get , I think it would favor RV.
Either way.....I wish them both the best of luck and it continues to be a great battle. Each of them stays healthy and fights to the end is what i'm hoping for.
great kid, great family....real people.
i never did like rv because of his rivalry with alessi.
but now rv kinda grows on ya....
actually at that world trouncing in budds creek i became a huge fan and rv got my respect bigtime....not that it matters.
gotta pull for team suzuki...and of course H&H with blose.
"let RV by!" ...just saying.
I think there are too many races left for RV to sweep with out a mistake.
Pit Row
Any word when Stewart will return?
7 in a row, end of show, Vegas baby
RD has pressure to finish solid (podium), which he has proven he can do pretty consistently. RV has to win.
Woody...IF I HAD to bet...I won't bet on this series. Both of these guys control their own destiny right now. They have both made mistakes this year and in the past. It's possible for either one to blow it.
With RD having things go his way early on, he's in a better position.
IF you were in a series like this one and you could have RV's stats and points or RD's, which would you choose? I'll take the points lead any day.
The kid is riding smart.
