To make matters worse the little shit and his mechanic were laughing about Shock. With the results he’s having this season, apart from his win, I really wonder what Star actually thinks about his antics/terrible tactics.

Rewatching the incident. I cant believe he only lost 2 positions.

When I saw it originally. I thought he was pushed off the track and got on the gas hard because he could make up time. Which deserved a penalty for each position gained plus one. So like 5 to 7 positions . Copping 2 for it was a bargain.

But he wasn’t pushed off. A rider in front of him had slowed down from the contact with guys punted off the track and rather than stay on the track and lose time because of what happened ahead of him. Deegan just followed the guys pushed off the track and gained way more than 2 positions. He intentionally cut the track, skipping obstacles snd accelerated as hard as he could with people around him on the sidelines. This was just blatant cheating and endangering of the people on the sidelines. If Jason Anderson did that he would have been docked 10+ positions if not disqualified for it.

Classic story of a father that risks everything to provide opportunities for his family, only to end up raising a spoiled brat that doesn't mentally live on planet earth with the rest of us. The kid has always been able to do what he wants, has been pampered, and the behavior he demonstrates has clearly been affirmed for an extended period of time by those around him.

He's fast and he hasn't squandered the opportunities provided to him. For that I give him credit. Beyond that, I can't stand his attitude. Especially when he talks as if the cards have been stacked against him and it's been an uphill battle for him.

He will probably outgrow this at some point. But it's going to take a lot of humble pie for him to do it. Maybe I'm wrong. But I wouldn't doubt it.

Just to recap:

- First turn incident, gets upset, yells at Seth and throws Seth’s bike to the ground in frustration

- goes to PC pits after the heat to continue yelling at Seth

- bad start in the main, goes even further off track than everyone else who got pushed wide and starts clicking gears barreling through mechanics/track personnel

- last lap/last turn takes out Schock

- proceeds to get in a yelling match with an AMA official

- gets docked two positions for the off track excursion

Add him and his mechanic point and laugh at Cody as he rides off with a broken collarbone

Deegan is a hybrid version of JLaw IMO. The "he's young" excuse has wore off for me too. He is not good for the sport, he isn't a good role model. He's a side (clown) show for an otherwise great series. He ended the season for one of the best stories of the series with that last lap take out...for 7th place.

He’s a very good rider, with a POS attitude. What a night he had. Can’t believe the way he acts towards other riders. And the family talk all this God, morals and Christianity bs. Nights like this, really shine how much of a spoilt little brat he is. Talented - yes, grounded - no.

Coty handling this like a professional afterwards. We need more guys like Schock and Anstie in this sport. Class acts all the way.

What’s the point difference between 8th and 7th? 1 or 2 points?  Punting a guy for that little is kinda lame. I think most people look at shock since the outdoor season he was killing it as the peoples champ. This sucks.

You say that, but what if Deegan wins the championship by one point? You come back to this exact moment

Ugly scene that-I'm beginning to think that Yamaha needs to do something where education on the part of others has been lacking

The main difference is that Jett made in by misstake, AND were sorry about it.

Deegan on the other hand…

I'm sure the other team managers are taking note. He better clean his shit up or start winning every race if he wants a ride in the future. Name only goes so far and I doubt anyone is one is going to put up with a bunch of drama and punk ass attitude for 7th place.

Hopefully, he'll get it together because he's a great rider.

Plays his part in causing a start crash in the heat and takes zero responsibility for it. Goes as far as to go and have a go at the guy he took out in the pits.

Cuts the track on the first lap rather than wait like everyone else and race fairly.

Ends Schock’s season by punting him for 7th place in the last turn.

When challenged for his terrible attitude, behaviour and all round performance, yells at an AMA an official just to round it all off.

Struggling to remember a single night where a factory rider has made more of an embarrassment of themselves

If that’s your idea of punting a rider I’ll send you some videos to educate what that really means. Blaming only deegan for the shock pass would be like only blaming Seth Hammaker for the first turn crash. Coty knew he was there but it was too late he left the door open. Can’t blame deegan when Coty came in injured.

If you would like to rewatch, I think it’s Bennick and Munoz that go off in front of him. It looks like they were actually pushed off, whereas it does not look Deegan had contact to push him off. Looks more like he just didn’t want to wait. He also clearly accelerates harder than the other two, as evidenced by the roost and fishtailing. I’m sure that’s more of an accurate explanation why the others didn’t get a penalty while Deegan did. I don’t think there’s any kind of anti-Deegan AMA conspiracy….

Yeah rewatching the Schock thing it wasn’t nearly as bad as people make it out to be. But I think it’s just a culmination of all the stuff he did last night that’s rubbing people the wrong way.

Apparently its now the other riders faults to know the opponent is injured. And to let the injured rider, ride around in their spot safely and to go help them ice themselves after a race and hug and have a handshake with their father.

you know in the name of sportsmanship according to alot of these jokers in here.

- Im rolling team deegan come hell or highwater, move bitch get out the way until that checkered flag drops!

Super lame. Not sure how his “fans” are going to defend this one. From throwing down Seth’s bike and acting like a 6 year old to smoking Coty for a position to seeing him and his mechanic “fake laughing” at the end of the main when they were talking to the ama and club boys. Pretty immature and he’s definitely making some enemies.

The centerline of the bikes were parallel, clearly on intersecting lines of travel.

As expected from Deeckgan, that's how he's going to be for the rest of his career. He'll only get worse, and less forgiven, with age.

Parallel and intersecting are mutually exclusive.
