Last weekend in Daytona there was a UTV on the track, this week the card girl I'm looking forward to the return of the boats and trucks but this time not on the side of the track but in front of a double to make it more intensive and interesting. 🤦‍♂️

An uneducated guess here but I’m pretty sure you have no idea what any of these women do for a living nor how far along they are in their education. It’s not nice to hate on someone because of their looks.

Many of them do other promotional events. There are things you'd not think of but things like industrial trade shows. They're paid to greet customers and draw them into the vendors booth. Product photo shoots. There's a whole world of marketing out there that doesn't require them to disrobe.

You're welcome in advance

TM

This whole response sounds euphemistic - 'they're paid to greet customers and draw them into the vendor booth'.  Sounds like something from an old 47th street peepshow. 'Product photo shoots'!

It's 2024 and there are still moto fans who don't treat women like regular humans. As it was mentioned on the first page, an official should have escorted her to safety (they should do that every single time).  She obviously thought she was off the race track and someone should have been there to actually get her off the race track.

The craziest part in all of this is "wheeels" gets internet service in his trailer.

Time to get rid of the AMA for good.

A regular human would have been paying attention and not walking across a live track looking away from traffic.  It's just not a big deal.  She made an error and everyone is fine.  The blaming of the AMA and making this into some sort of disaster is ridiculous.

The AMA is responsible for her that's why they have that fat little toad with the stop watch making sure she gets off the track and stays off the track

So in your opinion, race officials shouldn't be responsible for bodies on a live race course?  Why not learn from this and have an actual protocol, ya know like a real organization would have.  If this happened in road racing you'd have dead bodies on the course.

They do have a protocol and seems she likely missed the memo or did not adhere to the plan.  Everything doesn't have to be someone else's fault.

No why they mention this on the broadcast after the initial incident. Weege has waited for years to get a shot in the booth. He knows the rules. The race and promoter come before all else.

It's not mentioned in the video highlights, it might be seen as disparaging a race official...

No offence you're worked up for no reason, you can have all the guidelines, rules and safety in place but you cannot ever govern stupid.

You talk as if this is a regular occurrence,  this is my first time seeing in over 25 years.

Its 2024 and an adult is apparently unable to have the common sense to walk a few yards to get out of harm's way to avoid oncoming motorcycles that she knows are coming...

They’re not strippers. JFC. Most are college educated or in the process of doing it. You should look into it.

Well that explains why she wasn’t smart enough to get off the track

This won’t fly well with all the men in here but..

WHY do we need a model holding a 30 second board before the start? Are we not hiring people based on skills instead of looks?.

If a person working on the track need a official/escort to guide them off the track they should not be there in the first place.

It’s not like the racing gets better just because it’s a female standing there before the start.

And this is not a bash against women, it’s a bash against hiring someone because of her looks instead of competence. Or do you guys belive that a Monster girl does that job on the track better and safer than a seasoned AMA official?.

Because it’s 2024. This is how we do things now 😁. Just wait until you get hit in the head with an airplane because we hired a pilot based on their looks

In light of the circumstances who cares what she does for a living outside of the races? Is it anybody's business? I'm glad nobody got hurt.

In light of what happened, do we need promo-women, hired only for looks only, to be doing a pretty important job?
