I appreciate the effort. Would be easy to just build it and throw up your hands and say sorry nothing we can do about the weather. Worth it to take the chance to see if they can make it a track that can still be raced on in the mud.

Seems like SX would be good in stadiums with covered domes…

Every forecast I’ve seen says no rain after 10am. It’ll be soft, but shouldn’t be a paddler. 

Gonna be weird id the rain actually stops and they run the simplified track.

Mud racing will be a lot different in the red clay. 

So sick of these mid races dude. Can’t remember any other year where we have had this many.

Oakland/San Francisco/Santa Clara, Seattle, New York, Boston, Salt Lake City, Denver, Tampa Bay, Daytona. Those are the ones I can think off the top of my head

Without actually researching history of past venues (I'm too lazy to do that), I'd assume the percentage of open to closed roof SX races in the modern era is pretty damn close to identical. 

I haven't heard much argument for this whole "maybe SX should be only closed roof stadiums" until this year. Sometimes we have freak weather years, I'd guess (once again too lazy to look up) that the overwhelming majority of SX seasons have 0-2 mud races. Maybe this is just an unlucky year. Thats ok, its an outlier. Not a big deal. I'm just one dude but I think the mud races are actually pretty entertaining.

Rain seems to be gone and revised schedule doesn't have anyone on the track until noon. Will be curious to see how much of the track gets changed this morning. 

Tracks awesome, building is cool, all is well. 

What if Jett jumps the entire track now...hmmm?  I guess he has to land for every bowl turn..and then ass bounce to the next bowl turn. Soaring like a moto Phoenix.

Looks like weather is going to cooperate...  I wonder if they'll get out and make some adjustments to the track now.  Closer to the original track map.  Biggest concern is 40sec lap times if they don't.

Watching the weege show thankfully the triple that turned into a double they took out the middle jump so its still just as big. Thats actually kinda cool we dont get huge doubles that often its something different.

is it possible they are going to build the whoops today with dry dirt that was covered up? Not sure how long it takes to build whoops
