450's will be better for him.
But I'm not sure that you are even allowed to debut on the 450 in pros are you?!?!
That certainly didn't help Bowers....
Mind you, I did think it's funny that Josh Hill has lost all that weight... Think Yamaha would have liked him to be that serious about his training when he was on their lites bike?!?! hahaha...
Yeah, he is a very good rider, but he will always be Bubba's brother. And in all honesty, there really is no point in trying to be anything else.
Malcom DOESNT wanna be known as just "bubbas brother" and he wants to make a name for himself as being a top pro. not a top pros brother.
I suspect he'll become more driven as he matures and end up a top 5 US rider. He's got every opportunity to do it with his name and contacts. As he matures just being Stewarts little brother won't seem so cool, his effort to get recogntion in his own right is bound to increase.
Pit Row
It's not a case of "if I had the opportunities" mate...
Those kids, whatever the background, all have one thing in common, it's the will to twist the throttle more than anyone else...
If you ever rode, you had the chance, didn't matter if your bike was old, you didn't get to ride much or whatever...
Talent is talent, and a will to succeed known as determination is what MX takes...
Otherwise, everyone of those amateurs who's parent's do give them everything would be champ... but they're not!
Yep He's a Stewart---Fastest between crashes
Dude, that's cold!
I'd just race, enjoy racing, enjoy life, take it easy etc rather than train my ass off like the guys in those OUTDOOR MOTOCROSS videos from Fuel that have been getting posted. That's just me. He has his own life with his own decisions though, so its up to him how to live it. I'm just saying I'd be content being a school teacher, riding dirt scoots, and fishing a bunch.
Malcom Stewart's 2:11.197 wasn't quite enough to put him on top of the fast lap sheet in the 250 practice, but he was the only one doing this section. What you don't see is the "roller" that Stewart launched that sits just outside the frame to the left. Our guess is the track builders over at OTC didn't plan on this being an option. It's at least a 50ft gap straight out of a corner. A few others eyed it in the 250 class after Stewart uncorked it, but no one mustered the courage to try. We're sure that will all change once motos start.
you are going to learn to ride the pace of those you ride with all the time. when your brother is the fastest man on the planet, and you ride with him, your normal "go fast" speed is going to be up there, your push it speed is going to be insane. Good for malcom, I dont care what he has, who got it for him, what advantages he has, HE is the one that is twisting the throttle and deserves the respect.
98% of the racing "joes" will never be able to twist it as hard as Malcom is right now...
I watched live timing on the 450Aprosport and was super impressed how he just left Anderson behind and then just paced him. He obviously has national speed I just can't see them getting a 250 that will get him through the 1st turn top 5 every moto,,, It's starting to look like he has to come up in the foo fiddy class which will make it rough.
