This is a legit poll. I almost started this same poll myself. I dont get the thumbs down, at all. Just because the question is asked, doesnt mean hes bashing Hunter. Top 10 is super legit, but like he mentioned, some were hyping him up to be more, and honestly a podium looks like a steep climb talented or not.

There are 4-5 supercross champions lining up each week. Jett isn’t beating them just yet and he’s expected to…I think Hunter is doing just fine. His top finish will be a 4th if I had to guess.

Very impressive step forward. If he hadn’t slowed up to let his brother go by on the outside and punted him off the berm like Jett deserved for trying that pass, it would have been a 4th place finish.

When Hunter’s contract is up with Honda, he’ll be kickstarting on a HEP Suzuki. By then K Roc will be close to retiring.

They aren't. Hunter's deal is up at the end of this year and Jett's up at the end of 2025.
Honda would be dumb to not re-sign him. The dude has legit podium potential and showed it at the last race. It's one thing if he was struggling to get top 10 but he is for sure the best teammate to have alongside his brother.

Kawi and Husky have spots open next year. Depending on what Eli does, Star might have a spot open. AP is on a one-year deal.
We'll see how he does the rest of the year, but he might have a few options available to choose from.

If they don't re-sign Hunter, i wouldn't surprised in the least to see Team Lawrence Motorsports show up in 2026.

They have Justin Cooper Webb as there team. And Eli is an extra till he retires.
Lawrence say they want to work 2gether and seems like honda want that. The main issue I see is dazzy. Let's say hunter signed with kawi or ktm. And dazzy is working in both corners it would become a massive conflict of interest.
ATM it seems like a good rider pairing as I believe most teams want a #1 who is a big championship contender. And a #2 of can put it on the box, potentially win races. And end up about 5th in the championship. And not cost 2 much money. So it seems like a good combo even if they were not bros. So unless hunter becomes a championship contender or 15th place guy. They will be team mates for a long time.

That would sound crazy for most riders, but if anyone was going to do it it would be them. Would be cool to see 🙂
Of course it's a tonne of work and logistically it'd be a total mission, but it's not like it would be Jett and Hunters concern, I guess their dad would largely take the reins?

Jett and Hunter are a package deal. They won't be separated even if that means Jett makes less money to keep Hunter on. This is a total family affair from day one, no chance they split.

I voted yes, but probably with an asterisk. IF he stays healthy and we experience the normal injuries during the second half of the season, I could see him getting on the podium a couple of times. Hunter has the talent to run in the top 5 on a normal night, but that’s assuming he gets a good start and maintains position. He can come up through the backmarkers, but making passes on the guys running 3-10 is obviously quite a bit harder than on guys running 11-21.
Like Ricky Johnson taught Jeff Stanton too much. Hunter might have taught baby brother Jett too much 😕
That is a shame for his career. He is already resigned to his body of work being Jett.
Listen guys, Honda let prime MC go, and RC too. Anything is possible when it comes to dollars and cents.
Regarding hunter and a podium, its doable, with a start. I do think he's a tiny tick off when it comes to top end speed. If he started right behind kenny last week, by race end I see ken with a small lead.
Since the question was will he “podium”…? I answered in the affirmative.
Has there been any official update on Hunter injury and missing races besides the Matthes tweet?
Lars is the best thing to happen to HRC.. He wont let Honda make the same mistakes they have in the past and Hunter and Jett will stay team mates for something.
