That would be shit for Honda coming off last season but Honda saw the potential early on with the Lawrence package.

I’m confused; Gajser has delivered HRC multiple world championships, Sexton won SX last year, Jett went undefeated in outdoors and is leading SX this year. Hunter as the second rider is consistently top 10 as a rookie in the ‘deepest field in history’. 2024 MXGP is yet to start……
Why are you asking what’s up with HRC??? They’re currently doing the best they have for 20 years.
I think he means if Jett wasn't there hrc would be 10th in 450s. And there east west guys would be not going very well.
I get that, but if they didn’t have Jett, they would have gone after someone else as their number one rider, and there’s no way of knowing who that would have been, or how they’d have performed, so it’s kind of a moot point.
Fair point, tough hypothetical given, as you say, if Jett wasn't around they would have got the cheque book out and made something else happen.

Jett really is next level. His talent is what made Honda look so special last year. At that level, all factory bikes are good enough to get the job done. It is all about who is sitting on top of the bike.
Honda does have Jett though…
Everyone kinda has an excuse except Jo imo. He really should be competing for wins but his poor starts and lack of intensity in the first few laps have kept him firmly out of this SX championship. Hoping for better results come outdoors.
Yup. All they gotta do is pay him and keep him happy by giving Hunter a ride. They will own the better part of the next decade

Bummed for Hunter. He was riding really good. Up to p5 and closing in on P4..hopefully he’s all good.
Can we agree Sexton was gifted the championship? Had there not been a fluke injury to ET, Sexton gets #2 so without Jett and Hunter, HRC in the USA would need CPR.
