Even coming back from injury, if you’d have told me Eli would be winless after 8 rounds, I’d have said you’re nuts.

The race was phenomenal. I know Tomac is closer to the end of his career. I am also seeing Jett as the generational rider he may turn out to be. He rides smooth. Or at least he makes it look that way. A truly gifted racer.

Y’all were saying less than a year ago you’d be shocked to see him back on a gate. Now it’s “winless after 8 rd’s is crazy”

I’m still confused how the points work for that ‘championship’ since Triumph was ahead of Beta before they’d even lined up for the first east round.

Jett was willing to send that one rhythm, Eli wasn't. That was the big difference tonight. Definitely a hell of a ride by Jett - nobody has been able to beat Eli at Daytona when he starts up front and keeps it on two wheels.

While he didn't win, this race actually made me even more confident that Eli ain't done yet. His speed looks to be back and he clearly still thinks of himself as the man to beat. I think he'll be able to get a few wins, especially with his starts improving.

The guy had a perfect rookie outdoor 450 season. He’s generational.

do I think his is the best tomac has ever been? Not by a long shot.

Yeah, I would even argue to use the term shredded. To say otherwise is straight up ignorance. Im sure you’re really strong though so you got your point across.

100% correct. It was that one section that hurt Eli badly. Everywhere else Eli just as fast. What we saw was the daring of youth vs the 31-year-old family man who does not want to get hurt. I am actually glad Eli didn't do the quad since he didn't want to.

Yeah it seems Eli is always losing time in the sections where you gotta send it.

hopefully losing to Jett gets him fired up. I wanna see the man win one last time before he signs off. And if Jett says it was a “gift” I’ll lose my mind lol
