I do not care what he says in a Press conference or on the podium. Riders think that they can get into the heads of their competitors. But being asked to not do something by the AMA and doing it anyway shows complete lack of respect for rules and his fellow riders and track workers. He pinned it and dumped the clutch and let the bike go, what if the throttle stuck wide open? I get it nothing happened but to say that nothing could happen by ghost riding a bike on a supercross track is just plane ignorance. People are going to argue that riders crash and their bikes go flying so whats the difference? Well one is an crash which is a par of the sport of racing, the other is intensional.
