There had been talk of him wanting to ride a 450 on the West before the series headed east. That apparently didn't fit well with the team's plans.

I've also heard that Valli is working on lining up another rider for next weekend. I've heard a name mentioned, but don't want to drop that one until the teams involved figure out the particulars. (Currently Honda-mounted.)

Haha yesss, that is what the mysterious Kyle Regal was doing over the weekend. The bottom line is he didn't fake an injury, not show up because of money, or get abducted by aliens. This has been a long time coming and basically Kyle and the team didn't bond. You most likely will not see him back under the Valli tent but I am sure you will see some kind of press release before the end of the week. He hopes to be released in time to get a few 450 SX rounds under his belt before outdoors.

I find this very interesting. So does the rider or the father not like the bike?? Bike seams prety quick to me with Kyle getting great starts at the first 2 rounds. As far as the equipement goes, the bike appears to have all of the good kit stuff on it, and if you can get good starts against the PC-FC boys being as big as Kyle is I would tend to beleive the bike is making good horespower. I have watched him and he gets over the obstacles pretty well. I think the problem is that so many of these amateur parents think they know everything, and they honestly don't know shit. The guys that are working over on the Valli team have a wealth of experience and have won numerous championships, so they have credentials that speak volumes.

I just hope for Kyle's sake his family figures this out before his young career is over.

Again I am just reading between the lines and making an educated guess with my experience in the sport. Hell i could be completely wrong.

Perfect example of industry ignorance right here. Just curious, you are telling me one can tell how good a bike is by looking at the trick parts that are on it and if the rider gets a good start?!

Look guy's, it's tough out there and if Albertson, Regal or anyone else had another place to go they would have.

Valli is operating this team with his own money. How many of you have ever tried financing a team with your own capital?

Bikes are only as good as Kyle can come up with. He is using his own tuners and parts just as Ivan is.

Agreed, the best riders ride around the tiny differences there are at this level. Remember RC's funky set-up on the Honda? He went full '80's sweep bars with chopper style ride height. He still won. So it's not the bike, might be the excuse being used just to get away though. Must be something more.

I have a feeling Regal is going to be one of those kids that can't bond with anybody. The Vali team can't be to bad. He pulled a 7th out at Indy and in my eyes thats is good as it is going to get for this kid in the East.
