I'm not the biggest Kenny fan. I certainly don't dislike him. What an amazing story that would be. From the injury and everything he had to deal with afterwards, to riding the bike that was supposedly going to hold him back. I'd love to see it
I'm not a fan of Jett, but my biggest fear is if he figures out how to start getting the holeshot every week in SX.
This is literally everyone's fear.
It's the same for all of the top 5ish guys... Right now a holeshot from any of those is game over.

I'm actually surprised how up in the air it still is after 6 rounds. There's been only 1 guy to win twice. As soon as the podium starts looking the same every weekend or every other, we won't know. But the season starts at Daytona.
Jett is gonna win and further cement his holiness. Wish someone else would at least take it this year, but unlikely....then the Hunter brothers experience will know no bounds, yet a privateer can't sell t-shirts.
The potential is certainly there but we simply don't have enough data to come to conclusions...yet
I like how the thread asks ACTUAL contenders and most of us couldn’t just say the 2 or 3 😂. At the end of most posts it’s a top 3 then. “But so and so could” just reaffirming that this series is still way too close to call.

Historically only McGrath and Tomac won championships at the age of 28 or older. Tomac was 29 when he won his last championship. I think we can agree those are all time great riders. That narrows the contenders who are under 28 years old down to Jett and Chase. Webb and Plessinger are 28 so one of them could sneak in if Jett and Chase get injured. Interestingly enough Jett and Chase are 1-2 and Webb/Plessinger are 3-4 in points right now. If Roczen can leapfrog Anderson in points you will pretty much have the top 7 riders in reverse age order.
Right. So far pretty much the guy that won the start won the race except the triple crown and SD where Kenny crashed
