Had problems with my hands cramping up real bad last year, want to try a set of flexx bars, who’s run them?

One of the guys I ride with uses them, I tried them once, and could not deal with all the movement they have. I don't know what elastomers he has in them but it was too much for me.
I’ve been on them since 06 probably. I don’t notice them moving but as soon as I jump on a bike that doesn’t have them I feel the harness through the bars and my hands, wrists, and elbows all feel it too the next day.
They work great. Soft polymer for compression, red or black for up (pulling on bars). Very strong. Cons: expensive, limited bar bends, heavy, only move in one direction. Twice when I returned for bushing service Fasst said they were worn out and offered $100 off new set. Used them for 12 years. I use Mako 360s now and like them better.
I have a set in the stock ktm bend. Loved em for offroad stuff, all the small rocks and chop get absorbed. Ill sell em real cheap. I might have a package of the elastomers but if not you can buy new ones from their website. Right now I have red(hardest) on the pulling up on bars side so they dont flex hardly at all when trying to wheelie over something, and yellow(softest) on the downward force side so they soak everything up as much as possible.

My buddy has ran them on his RMZ for years after a boogered up wrist. He loves them, and I’ve never noticed them too much when I’ve hopped on his bike.
They work great at what they do. You trade off some extra bulk for extra suspension. My buddy has them on his bikes and every time I get off first thing I talk about is the flex bars yeeeehaww!
Been running them since 2007 when I was trying to make the 2007 CRF450R forks more rider friendly before I went the revalve path. I was blown away by the results and have owned like 8 sets since - and none ever failed or even bent, I just moved onto new bikes and the Buyers REALLY REALLY wanted the FasstCo Flexxbars.
One of the best mods you can do to a bike IMHO - and they are super adjustable.
Great company, great support, amazing product.
They're fantastic!
Try the XC Gear Mako 360. Similar to flex bars. Best damn thing ive ever put on a bike. Before this id have a problem with my fingers locking up and not being able to grab the levers now I no longer have that problem. Best thing with this is no more bar vibration!
I’ve used them for about 6 years now and love them. I run the red elastomers for rebound and yellow for compression. They take some of the sharp jarring out of rocks and square edges bumps. You really don’t notice how good they are until you’ve ridden with them for a while and switch back to a traditional bar. I think they’re worth the money personally, but I’m in my mid 30s now. Can’t say for moto, but I think they’re a must have for off road. Haven’t tried the Mako360 setup since I run a Precision RP damper and need the center bar space open to clamp the damper on.
What he said.
I found the Flexx Bar to be very heavy and limited as it only 'flex's" in one direction.
Sold It and bought the Mako and very pleased.
Mako also offers 3 different rubber durometers to customize the feel
I agree XC Gear's MAKO 360 product is a GREAT product, I also run those ... and it's blasphemy, but I run BOTH together (FasstCo doesn't recommend this given the vagueness, but I like it!).
I have a MAKO 360 setup for the stock Yamaha triple clamps for sale if anyone is interested. If interested, contact me at VitalMx123@outlook.com
I switched to XTRIG clamps that require different mounts.
I will one up vagueness with Flexxbars, Luxon 4 post clamp and my trusty Boyesen Shokout grip. Combo works great for a wrist that isn't getting operated on til November
I have been running Flex bars for years riding off road and moto, I absolutely love mine. The elastomers are adjustable. Make sure you are tying you bike down correctly or they will prematurely wear out (yes you place the tie downs in a different spot for Flex bars).
If you don't have rubber mounted clamps, then the Mako 360 might fit the bill for you. If you have rubber mounted clamps and still have issues, then the Flexx bar might be for you.
I've been running the Flexx bars with rubber mounts for many years, but my problem is wrist, hand and shoulder pain from impacts. I ride very elbow up and over the bars, so the angle of my arms seems to work with the bars flex point. I hate the added weight, but the Flexx bars alleviate the pain and allow me to ride longer. They seem to work for me, whereas the Mako 360 did not.
And yes, tie the bike down around the lower triple clamp with any elastomer bar mount system, if you use regular tie downs.
@Mr. Robinson brings up a great point - flex bars of any kind need special attention when using tiedowns.
I started using these Canyon Dancer rings a few years ago to address the MAKO 360 and flex bars (both FasstCo Flexxbars and Twisted Engineering carbon fiber bars) as well as to docongest the tie-down interactions when loading multiple bikes.
