I will watch it, but I am not expecting anything more than Putin saying he is justified with the war. No world leader is going to ever admit to any wrong doing. 

I find it funny that people are upset about the interview and calling him a Russian bot 😂.

He already did a video explaining the interview. Doesn't take a genius to read between the lines and see what narrative he's going to push.

Calling it now. Tucker puts on a tough guy journalist face and pretends he's tossing out some hard hitting journalism. But under the surface it's really Russian propaganda that continues to push the narrative that Zelensky is bad, the US is wasting money, that Ukrainians want to be Russian, Ukraine is harboring terrorists, Ukraine is a NATO puppet state, etc etc etc. Same shit different day. Tucker hates America, that's been clear for years.

Why form an opinion about the interview before it’s even been aired? Seems like a pretty narrow viewpoint

Be interesting if Putin will interview in English or Russian. Despite being able to speak English, when Oliver Stone interviewed Putin, he would only do it in Russian with a translator

Yeah, that part where Tucker asked a question and then listened as the other guy gave his answer. Pure garbage. 

When the whole thing started and kamala gave her big country bullying little country speech ,that should have raised a red flag on what's really going on. Anytime they get on TV and spell out exactly what's going on ,it's a safe bet it's not even close to the truth. 

Exactly why this will be a much more non-bias interview. We're not going to see Tucker talking over anyone he, or his production crew disagree with, we're not going to see the feed drop, we're not cutting to commercial, etc. 

Zelensky is a corrupt piece of shit. The US shouldn’t send another dime there.

Tucker says his first question was to ask why the war was started. Instead he provides the answer to a question not really asked, and instead got the truthful answer (this is a war about reclaiming soviet land)

Funny. Over in the moto forum there was a post recently about how shitty moto journalists are, always giving the answer to the question theyre asking. Tucker does that with one of the most powerful people in the world, and his comment section is nothing but what a great "journalist" he is.

I did. Had some interesting parts, but at the end of the day it's a world leader, so I was not expecting anything other than a Russian point of view. 

The talk about Russia joining NATO back in the day and Boris Johnson pushing Ukraine to not sign and peace deals stood out. 

I can see it from his point of view, NATO encroaching on their territory for how every many years and Ukraine becoming a satellite to NATO and doing their bidding. 

I don't recall any talk about all the deaths or misplaced people. 2 hours was long winded for me so I might has missed that. 

The thing I don’t understand is why, even if you hate tucker and Putin, even if you think absolutely everything they will say is a lie, even if you think the entire thing is pro-Russia propaganda, why does this happening piss you off so much? If your mind is totally made made up, do you think you won’t find more to be angry about?

If you’re a detective or a criminal prosecutor, your absolute dream is to have your suspect tell his story for two hours straight. There’s no way you won’t find some inconsistency, some hint, or some subtext that will help you tell your own story better or give you more evidence that you hadn’t thought to look for. The people who have been the most upset about this should have been the most eager to hear it. 
 

The only people who have any reason to be genuinely upset about this are big media bros because some disgraced Fox TV host with goofball laugh managed to land this interview while none of them could.

Isn't the point of this interview to get Putins point of view on this?  Of course he's going to tell Russia's side of the story, of course he's going to say things that will justify their position. 

Putin did say he had no interest in Poland or Latvia...unless they invade Russia...Is he truthful?  Who knows...but that blows a hole in the "we have to support Ukraine because if we don't he'll go after Poland next" line of thinking.

For me, I don't support Russia, at all, this invasion is wrong.  But...I also don't think its right that America is basically bankrolling NATO...So I'm still critical of all the aid going to Ukraine, and feel there should be much greater oversight to where that money is going.  I believe Trump would have the other NATO members stepping up and financially pulling their weight on this far more than Biden is. 

America can't afford to be the worlds rich uncle who funds everything...from natural disaster/humanitarian aid, to our military, to trade agreements that aren't fair to America...Biden is screwing the pooch all around on this stuff. 

Softball questions and 0 pushback. Which is of course what everyone knew it would be. Because Tucker is just in it for himself, and also he didn’t want to accidentally fall off the 40th floor or shoot himself in the back of the head three times.
