Will be headed down to St. Louis with the family in our RV and will have bikes with us.  Any recommendations on reasonably safe places to park the RV during the race? Open to staying at a hotel so the kids can use the pool if that opens up good options.

Downtown in an RV with bikes is tough.... I think your better off going to a town just outside of the city. The teams stay at Embassy Suites in St. Charles and a place in Collinsville Illinois called Porters(fine dining  steakhouse) and I think a nice holiday inn attached and taking an uber over to the dome. If you have the bikes the day after SX is generally a really good ride day over at ArchviewMx Park that my buddy Paul owns.  If you were in Collinsville you would be 15 minutes from the track as well.

I’d be getting an Airbnb and putting the bikes in the garage.

I've done airbnb on Illinois side or south suburbs every year I've done stl round. Getting an RV around downtown and finding a hotel worth your while is going to be tough. Not happening within walking distance to stadium.

I know in past years Archview MX has opened up and let people park/camp at their track and I believe has the train right there to ride to the race, and they have open practice the following sunday. Also if I recall correctly I believe they had security while the race was going on. I get that it isn't in the best area but with enough people doing the same thing you'd probably be fine. Might be worth looking into

This.  Assuming they are doing it again this year.  Great track, too, and literally a 10 minute train ride to the stadium.

Sounds like I might have to cancel my hotel room and bring my trailer and bike instead.  Thanks, Paul!

I've on and off hit this race since 04 and one thing I've learned is you don't bring an rv and bikes to St. Louis sx unless your racing. I did the futures there a few years back and just like almost everytime I've gone to the stl sx there's been issues, luckily none for me. Our hotel had on site parking lot security and guard shack and they still tried to jack someones van with bikes in it.

All the suggestions like paul at archveiw and stayin where the teams stay or a Bnb about 30 minutes away from StL is the best options.

If your gonna stay in town. A good hotel is the st luois union station hotel. Its close to the track. Very nice hotel with things to do right around it for the kids and also has or had the last few times I was there the on-site security with police always parked nearby.I would call and see if you can park there.

There is a ton of fun free stuff to do in STL, too.  They have a zoo that is every bit as good as any I have been to, a science center, and a bunch of great museums all in Forest Park, and all of it is free!  The City Museum isn’t far from the stadium, and is definitely worth a visit as well.  They have a new aquarium and huge Ferris wheel downtown also.  There is actually a ton of fun stuff to do in STL.  As with any big city, though, you just need to use common sense when it come to choosing when and where to go.  Have a great trip!

That is one hell of a deal for core Moto families.  Very good on you and yours for offering this to the folks who keep the wheels turning in this sport.  Wish I could attend!!!  Even if you are just the spectator fan, it's a win win.  Getting to hang out with Moto folks the entire weekend is just about as good as it gets, you'll for sure be with good people.

I would do Archview Mx for sure. I keep my camper out there and have had no issues. The track is going to be the place to be!

You won’t be disappointed. I never had a problem at Archview. The track has great dirt, and they prep it well.

Archview has some of the nicest staff.  They take pride in their track and make everyone feel welcome.  If you are looking for a nice FREE place to stay or park during Supercross weekend rather than paying the $$ in St. Louis consider Archview MX Park.  Plan on a great time the day after Supercross with a fun practice day on an amazing track.  The night before Supercross they are also having practice under the lights.
