Great shot. I never thought about it now, but it's cool RC got the chance to do that in his last race. That move reminds me of his 125cc days.

I was at this race. I was at FSU up in Tallahassee at the time and I was so broke. I couldn’t afford a pot to piss in but I dam sure wasn’t missing Orlando SX. I slept in my car in some sketchy hotel parking lot. The memories SX brings.
I was broke, in college. My grandpa picked me up and we went to this race. Great memories.
That orange gear was so cool.
I got 7th that night and was the last guy to get lapped. I spent more time during that main trying to watch the battle between RC & James than focusing on my race. It's a very iconic race, the passing of the torch between the Goat and the Foat... It was cool to end the race close to them and have the best seat in the house... Just after the checkered flag, since I just got lapped, I gave RC a thumbs up and did a bowing down gesture in respect of an unbelievable career. I wonder if anyone ever caught that...
Wow! dv12 on one of my posts. I'm glad that picture hit a nerve. That race was clearly iconic as far as passing the torch.
The after party was fun. RCs last race.
Fox had a huge retirement party for RC in the parking lot of the Orlando stadium. I produced the event.
Somewhere on one of my 25 retired hard drives. I've got photos of that event. I'll never find them but it was a good time.

RC was and has always been amazing in a personal situation. Class act.
Was insane. I believe Reed got the holeshot but still finished 20 seconds back. Those guys were on another level.
RC had James through the entire race except through the whoops. James killed it.

Was anyone at Gatorback when RC's 1st Pro race came by the fence at the Stewarts? I was right there. They were great friends..... came up through the childhood years.
It's a shame that no-one documents the family chain of who grew up with whom.....who raced whom.....when they were kids. The broadcasts just bypass the history.
