Went to Glen Helen today but the track was closed due to heavy rains.
Saw that they were doing the 2024.5 FE introduction at the big shed with all the media guys, I assume they were scheduled to ride today.
Interested in the LitPro integration on the bikes and if it is reliable. I have Lit Pro but I hate putting the transponder on my helmet because it's the size of a Toyota Prius
I had a chance to play with the app and see the LitPro integration (after someone else completed a bunch of laps on the bike). It was nice. Very precise, well laid out and the extra engine data that you get on top of the lap data is also quite interesting. It tells you things like throttle position and gear selection.
The only fault I could find with it was that there wasn't a simple screen to see all your lap times together, like in list format. You needed to drill down into each lap to see the time. That's just a UX issue though and easily solved. I'm sure the app will evolve with user feedback.
Keefer just posted his first impression...

Main track ended up being closed today, so we didn't get to ride.
I walked up to the triple jump to check out the track and boy was that a mistake,
Gonna take awhile for that place to dry out

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Do you run the new race box mini s they are pushing?
Im honestly surprised someone hasn’t made a transponder type fork mount for any of the GPS units yet, can we get 3DP Moto on this?
Yes, and while it is super cool and accurate, it is a fucking brick.
The only attachment they send with this is a piece of Velcro, and I have lost a couple of the older style when I mount it to either the frame or the number plate, the one time I tried it on the front fender it got blown off by roost.
I wish LITPro would make a hard mount for the fork, or behind the number plate Kind of like my transponder bracket that mounts to the fork
3-D printer experts help me out here🤷♂️😝
Keefer : “Compliant on the edge of tire” GTFOH…😂
that's too much....
Looks cool to me … i might have to get a 450 and not wait for the 25 350 … i don’t know decisions decisions!
Knowing KTM, that 350 will probably be available in 4-5 months. Not that far out.
where do you buy the unit for lit pro that comes on the 24.5. Also will it work on a 22.5 ktm 450 works edition.
Thanks Michael, I’m still a few months out from riding as my L Scaphoid is taking its sweet ole time healing!
Will the 2024.5 husky and gas gas also have all this advanced electronics? Presumably yes?
Yes and the KTM dealer will sell the unit for 2022.5 and newer bikes that don't have it. It is supposed to include a new fender and run $250 MSRP. When I put the PN in aomc site it showed $180 MSRP so I guess we will wait and see what it costs and what it includes. It is possible they will have a kit with and without Litpro.
Pit Row
do you have the part number?
Perfect, will wait for the 2025 300 SX!
I’m with you on that. Probably have my 23 dialed by then lol
Taking some gussetting out of the neck, thinner metal.
That's the last thing I would be announcing to social media, lol, not lol.
Sounds dumb, but I understand what he is talking about.
Hit a high speed sweeper with small chatter bumps on my Ole Suzuki vs my KX.
Here is the one that says it allows you to make changes to engine tuning. It is showing under power parts on the main ktm site. A46014986033
