Rm 125 power valve

I’m doing a full rebuild on a 2002 rm 125 and during the tear down I found that the power valve was sheared off and stuck. Now I am looking for a new power valve but doesn’t have to be the whole assembly and I’ve never had this much of an issue finding parts for one of my bikes. I wanted to see if anyone on here had any ideas on where to look other than eBay. I’m sure there has to be some niche Suzuki website that would have it.

thanks !

Are you looking for the right or left half? If the right half, they are all over eBay. For the left half, will the K2 model not work?

K2 represents a 2002 where K1 would be a 2001. My guess is the OP doesn't want to pay the $193 from partzilla as it is clearly available.

If it ain’t broke DONT FIX IT! The one that has been in the motor, will work smoother than ANY replacement at this point. It’s 21 years old.

It’s alright man, the right one isn’t available, hate engineers! or just buy the whole damn set for 300 on eBay, which is costly, there used to be a guy who made them on FB custom, with billet so they don’t snap, so think the guy is around anymore, do you possibly still have the other half?

IMG 6633Yes I think that’s what I’m going to do . I found a guy on eBay selling them both for 220 but they have exhaust gas holes in them I guess ? He’s telling me they should still work

I’m unsure. But, if the holes do cause any issue, (minor chance) you could probably get a machine shop to fill the holes with weld and clean it up for cheap.

It's not uncommon for suzuki power valves to look the the same bu have slightly different dimensions so they won't interchange. Do your homework.

Maybe call a company that fixes cylinders

The link to that thread is working for me.

within that thread are links to the guy from Poland that makes the aftermarket replacement valves.  @Daniel Żychowski

Here's a link to the RM125 valves on his FB page:

Thank you for recommending my valves.
I will be happy to answer any questions if something is unclear.

If your valve does not have holes, I can check it for you, but I will need your old valves to take measurements and check them against the ones I currently produce.

Let me know what you think about it. I'm willing to help.
