Lawrence Injury?

It doesn’t have anything to do with how landing places there are, it’s how many obstacles are you clearing. A tabletop is a single obstacle. It doesn’t take anything away from how difficult it is or how bad ass it is to triple over a tabletop but it’s still just a triple.

I'll say from experience it's difficult to just "tweak" a thumb with an impact like that. The ligament that takes that force is not difficult to rupture or tear, I've done it in almost the same way. It's also easy to write it off as nothing the day it happens. It would be the same injury as Ferrandis, totally presumptive but it's called a Stener Lesion. 

If they imaged it and don't see a tear, awesome. If they didn't, he won't know for sure until tomorrow.

I'm impartial as a fan towards Jett, but the series is better with him in it. 

ASTM defines it as number of landings + 1

It's the downsides +1 (count the take off) as long as the table top distance is there to be a double, if you are team quad...  Otherwise call it a triple.  I couldn't care less.

Correct it’s one jump but is it a double? Is the center carved out? Is every table top a double it has one take off and one landing?
we are dumbing down the fear factor of clearing 4 singles with a table mixed in it doesn’t make it as extreme or the same distance as an OG quad.

And 1 jump (a table is 1 jump) is not a double. Again. Math. Double = 2.

also it's neither a trip nor a quad. its a 3.5. come up with a better term for it, but that's what it is.

If you have a single followed by a tabletop followed by a single....and you jump from the FIRST single to the THIRD single...is that a quad? NO. You tripled. Period.

A double that you jump from the takeoff of the first jump, to the downside of the second, is a DOUBLE.

Now fill in the gap between the two jumps with dirt. Is that a double? Not any more. It's now a table top SINGLE, WHICH ISN'T A DOUBLE.

Not sure how anyone could downvote the comment about JETT’s Vital interview on Press Day. His immaturity is on full display in that one. And his arrogance. These are two things that will backfire on him if they didn’t already. He’s making it easy for people to cheer on anyone not named Lawrence. 

Actually, I am. I just have no patience for stupid people that refuse to be smarter.

My career involves numbers and data and math and logic. Not a blind subservience to some TV dude that incorrectly called a jump section of 3 jumps a "quad."

If I was that stupid in my job I'd be fired the first day.
