I always check a media company's shareholders.

As long as their top shareholders are Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street I know I'm getting news I can trust. 

My wife who becomes Radicalized by Rachel Madow ...

and a co worker who becomes Radicalized by Joe Rogan...

I used to believe print media because they used investigative reporting. Then I found out how a major metropolitan newspaper influenced an elections outcome by the slant of their reporting. Question all who try to provide information. Many will have a hidden agenda.

I have a confession to make.

I've been regularly tuning in to about 30min of msnbc's morning joe.

It's awesome for comedy relief. 

Not a fan of television news, local or mainstream cable.

But they have the market cornered as far as delusional reporting disguised as news and information. 

I watch zero cable news of any source but did the same thing this week curious as to how they might be reporting on Iowa primary.

Holy smokes  felt like I was watching a Democrat version of Babylon Bee ..

It was all half truths full spin  zone.

Its not journalism but rather "performance art"

This has been good for war reporting and military news. Fairly non-bias.

I used to watch Morning Joe back in 2015 when they were reporting on the primaries and I though they did a pretty good job overall. They were on between 3 and 6AM out here so it was convenient for me as I was out the door between 5:30 and 6:00. They even reported somewhat fairly on Trump and then something happened at an event between Trump and mrs Morning Joe and the show changed. They went all Trump hate all the time. As soon as he won the general election all 3 cable news stations went to their respective corners and became worthless including Fox. That was about the last time I watched any cable news. I don't stream anymore so I couldn't watch them if I wanted to.

Saw a quote somewhere recently....   "Entertainment, formerly known as the news...."      Had a good chuckle over that.

I don't watch any of the "mainstream" broadcast/cable propaganda.       I did listen to some of the Newsmax shows to catch up what was going on live...but then they went behind a paywall.   F**k em. 

Too many other sites out there reporting the hard realities.
