The Muc-Off / FXR / ClubMX Race Team has developed a new program for the fan to be a part of the team. For a small one-time sponsorship of $250 for the entire race season, you can be a part of the monthly Zoom meeting where the owner, riders and crew talk about the Good, Bad and Ugly from the prior races.
Want to know what happened to Phil's bike at A1?
Want to know why Phil & Garrett chose not to wear roll offs in San Francisco?
Want to see how many fuel injectors are on the new motor package?
These topics and many more will be covered each month as the season develops with an unfiltered conversation. You can even ask questions that can be answered live during the meeting. The meetings will also be recorded so members can go back and watch them at a later date. ClubMX has always been the most transparent team in the paddock and now they are taking it to a new level so you can see behind the curtain. Running a privateer team and battling the factory teams takes a lot of ingenuity and sponsorship and now you can be a part of the program.

That's not equity, private or otherwise. Equity provides a financial return on investment, not gifted funding in exchange for swag.
If I'm sitting on a damn Zoom call I better be on payroll.
That's really awesome, pretty innovative in something that's new and the fans would also like. JT$ needs to launch "Fly on the wall" package.
I want to know what level of investment gets me enough equity to get an all access pass, the ability to eat the catered food at the rig, access to the rig, and require Phil to learn/use my real name and not just call me “fuck nuts”.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Pretty cool for any fan that has $250 to support the team and also be involved a little bit.
That's actually a great marketing term for a company named Fly.
At least they cut Patreon out as the middle man.
"Private Equity" is a term of art in law and business finance, and an area where representations and reliance upon them have repercussions. It's not just a phrase to take on a cool spin for fundraising marketing.
For an extra $150 can we unmute and yell at Phil?
Should also include a team shirt hat and socks some signed posters. Then maybe people would be into it.
I’ll pay $1000 if they let me in the truck at the races and I get full say on bike/suspension setup.
I’ll pay $2500 if they let me hold Phil’s pit board during the entire night show. “3-in next lap” “jump the jumps”
My dad is now the president of the Peoria Motorcycle Club & he said for HALF the price of Club you can join in on the zoom meetings & act as president for the day. Smokin' dealllll. You can even call the shots on my bike set up for the next 2 weeks.
Funds will go toward my race season in the +30 Pro Amateur Sportsman Class.
Private equity group? I don’t think they know what that means…I clicked the thread thinking the team was sold or they brought on an investor (both of which would have been very interesting)…
Stupid misleading name, but cool idea
Can I get a team credential with a press box sticker?
I just want to know how to wash a new yz and not pop error codes!!!
Eh. I prefer to drop $500 here and there in support of local guys trying to make the show, or the photogs that slog it out shooting kids on 65s for pennies. ClubMX won't even notice my $250 but $500 to a real privateer makes a huge impact.
I spend way, way, way too fvcking much time on zoom calls now. Another one where I have no input or decision making capability AND I have to pay for it?!?!?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ClubMx is not a factory team, coming up with ideas to fund their race team is a good thing. Don’t like it? Don’t pay it. My god people will complain about anything.
Won't everything released in these monthly meetings be released publicly by the knucklehead "sharehloders" shortly after the meetings for free to anyone who will listen anyway?
Pit Row
Looks like they gotta find a way to pay out that 3rd place bonus for marshbanks
I don't have an issue with, and in fact applaud the initiative and effort to generate revenue sources, especially built around fan access. That is awesome.
But the framing (which I expect was to try to stand out from similar programs) is off in a way I don't think they appreciated.
Yes but a lot of people will happily pay their hard earned to be the guy 'in the know', or at least look like it.
Semi joking, but not really.
Fair play to Club on the idea, if it works for people and they get a kick out of it then it's all good, nobody's making anyone do it. They really do need to revise the name though, to echo everyone else.
In the YouTube world, this is called Patreon.
2 hours before the first clubmx zoom call there will be multiple vitards on here asking for somebody who did this to please share their login so they can do it without paying.
Do I get a K-1?
The site crashed is that a good thing ?
Good suggestion: I'll work on that for the outdoor season!
Cool Idea.
I wish Phil would call me fuck nuts.
Also.... What is ZOOM? How do I get to ZOOM? How do I ZOOM?
.... and someone with a cat filter that does not understand the concept of muting their mic.
Probably worth it to join just to see all that.
