He sounds ready.  It took AC a while to overcome injuries so maybe he'll do the same.

I want to go on record saying my opinion of Austin has done a 180. Back when he came up, there were just a lot of things the kid did or said that just didn't sit well. The arrogance, the way shit went down with him and Sexton, but the final straw for me was when he was throwing major shade at Zacko basically saying he was going to take Zach out during Zachs title run. So for me, when he kept getting hurt I was very indifferent and was like "you get what you deserve". I started slowly changing my thoughts after he kept coming back from injury and was giving it 100%. Sort of reminded me of Deano back in his PC days. What finally turned the corner for me was watching him ride his absolute balls off at Washougal last year after getting his back all torn up. The TV broadcast didn't show it, but he came from like 30 seconds behind last place on the opening lap and rode like the title was on the line and made it all the way back to like 21st or 22nd. Didn't even score a point, but he still gave it his all. He gained a fan that day. I'm hoping he is able to finally get a title this year, he has definitely paid his dues.

Yeah I agree, he's a genuine kid and some of his injuries were in no way his fault.

Ryno is helping with technique and proper body movement so he can hopefully avoid anymore big crashes.

He changed his technique a lot. You could see he was struggling to find his old speed with it at the end of last year but was committed.

He sounds REALLY confident, scary for the east guys.

Completely agree 100 percent with everything you said!!!! I did not like the kid at all. Every time he spoke, I just was turned off with his tone and everything about him. Fast forward to now where he is very honest and a really good interview. He has matured a lot on and off the bike and certainly has had way more bad luck than anyone deserves. I've become a fan of his work ethic and feel he's just a misunderstood good kid. I really look forward to him seeing some good luck and hopefully his hard work pays off. He's earned it.

I’m a kawasaki I guy, I wish he could do better than he has, I think he has a bigger problem than his technic, he seems to make really bad decisions while racing, in the heat of the moment.

Count me in on the Forkner bandwagon this year. It's now or never for him!

I’m pulling for AF. He comes off as a good kid. I enjoy his YT vids too. He has good music choices.
