Max lost two spots under Red Cross Flag

I wondered if he would get docked.  Was the downed rider ok? Did not look like he moved for a while and he was there a long time.  Hope he's alright.....

I thought Max was the most conservative rider during that Red Cross. Other riders were jumping as soon as they got past the downed rider. Max continued to roll and got passed by Levi for that reason if I remember correctly.

Lack of awareness on Max’ part when Levi picked him off. 

They looked very even for the most part but I think Levi fell asleep at the wheel for a few laps there.

My buddy and I were talking about this during the race. It would be nice if they had a flag such as a green cross flag or even a green light at the end of each section that they would wave to specifically mark the point where the Red Cross flag rules end. 
 

It doesn’t happen all the time of course but there have been some instances where there are multiple riders down when the flag is out so it can be difficult to determine, especially while you’re racing, which rider it is you need to clear before you can jump again. 

I think he got hosed in that deal. These guys are so worried about being docked for jumping that it is really hard to know when to stop jumping and when you can start again. He got taken advantage of that is for sure.

Wheels on the ground until you pass the downed rider, its actually pretty easy.

As someone stated above, sometimes there are multiple riders down. 

Levi admitted it was a bit of a “greasy” move. Im sure that conversation was rough back at the PC rig. 

Probably should of just red crossed flag the whole section to prevent this anyways, and not have any gray areas where it begins and where it ends.

I thought the same too, where they had it was dumb, guys were tripling out of the turn then immediately on the brakes in a very short transition. Just asking for violations

That was wacky for sure, should have been much more clear what could be jumped and not jumped.

Oh, I thought last year he was requesting to be called just Maximus.  Could not hear the announcers where I was watching from.

Perhaps a rule where everybody has to roll everything until the next corner?

That race should have been red flagged. That was the most ridiculous thing. Season opener and you got guys rolling the main section for 15 minutes. It ruined the flow of the race. If I had someone behind me in that section I would have came to an almost complete stop so the guy behind me accidentally passes and just let them get docked after the race

Max just needs to learn the rules and what each flag means.
