Is it just me or did they go majorly downhill? Seems like the last few times I’ve tried to order, nothing is in stock and i end up going elsewhere.

I have not had good luck with motosport.com either. Seems like things that used to take 1 or 2 days to ship are now taking much longer even when the website says they have it in stock!  I am not familiar with their setup, big facility or office that has everything drop shipped???      RockyMtn seems to be on it!   I always get my stuff within a couple days.   Sometimes one place or another is not able to get something I need or want, so I go to who has it, and maybe who has it at a cheaper price.  Our sport is not the cheapest.  haha

I've never had any issues with motosport and everything has always been delivered on time, but it does seem like they have less in stock lately and overall offer less products than I remember. Rockymountain is just so hard to beat, they have the biggest catalog and the OEM parts selection is really nice.

Deliveries in general from anybody in the past 3-4 weeks have been inconsistent. Maybe stuff comes early, maybe a week late. Couple weeks back we only got mail delivered twice in one week.

Is it just the low pay FedEx, UPS, Postal Service and Amazon offers that they cant attract and keep employees?

I order from Rocky Mountain. Had great success with them. Only had one issues that aggravated me that was really outside of their control.

I have problems with Motorsport much more often. I still order my gear from them because they do your name and number but all else I’ve stopped if I can find it on rm. my last order was a chain a sprocket kit and then used a huge box with zero packing. The chain was out the box and sprocket had broken through the box. Proper packing would have prevented the damaged items.

Seriously? You never buy from RM? I shop both as well as others, there are always deals out there at different vendors. Never limit your options.

RM is always on point, Motosport takes forever. Has always been like that for me for some reason so I just stopped getting stuff through them.

My first option is RM mainly because they give so much back to the sport we all love. They do have great service though and fast shipping in my experience.

My second choice is Motorsport.com. I’ve always had good luck with them with no complaints.

I feel like they are going uphill. I had a few issues with things not being packaged as well as I would like. Nothing was damaged, but still. Since I reached out, they have been doing a great job packaging. Nothing better, to me, than Motosport.

Stopped ordering from Motosport because they’d take much longer to get to me. 2-3 days would always be 5-7 days. 2019 they showed a tank I needed in stock and when we ordered it said we’d get it in 2 days. 5 days came and went with no word. Finally called and they said it was being made by IMS and would be a few weeks. Canceled the order. Tried again for a chain and sprockets. When checking out on Monday it showed delivery for that Thursday. Didn’t show up until the next week. Haven’t ordered from them since.

Only had 1 issue with RM receiving a damaged part and they resolved it immediately. Been ordering from them since 2014 and have never had a shipping issue.

That’s how I feel, mainly a parts in stock issue. It used to be Motosport had everything in stock and Rocky Mountain lacked in that department. Now the roles are reversed and RM is killing it with stock.
As far as shipping, they have both always been great though.

I find the Motosport.com website easier to navigate and, so I automatically go there.

I should correct myself, I have ordered from RM a couple times..just hasnt been my go-to for mx stuff. Nothing against RM..

I gave up with them. They suck. Nothing in stock ever, takes for ever to get anything.

Rocky Mountain is 10 times better

UPS drivers are making 2 grand a week. Quite a bit more with the overtime they work.

I just had an issue with my hand guards I ordered. They came with two left brackets and, some hardware was missing.
It was more of a Cycra packing issue than a Motosport issue.  I called, stated what the issue was and, another full kit was sent out for me to pick through along with,  a return slip.

I was pissed initially. I’m wearing a sling so, it took a lot more effort trying to install these damn things.

I shop at both RMATV and, Motosport. Depending on what I’m looking for, items can cheaper at either place. It’s usually 50/50 for me.

Haha. I should’ve just bought a 500 to throw these on. Then, those trees wouldn’t stand a chance hitting em wide open. 😂

You do got some tight woods over on the West Side but I've just never been a fan of those, when you slightly brush a tree they deflect you big time as opposed to a flag style flexing a little so you can stay on path.

I also got a couple buddies who've had their arm go between the metal piece and the handlebars in a crash resulting in some f&%$ed up arms.

To each their own, tons of guys run them, was just flipping you some shit Tongue

I had this same experience with probends or any other bark buster. A few races ago I slightly clipped a tree on my left and side and it deflected me wayyyy of to the right slamming hard into another tree. Ended up with a broken toe. Ive since switched back to the KTM OEM flags that mount on the perch.

All good man. 🤝

I run the flag style as well. I’ve never ran this style before. The only reason I’m trying these is they drop down out of the way  giving you room and, a better chance for your hand not getting  trapped.

I have a lot of down time so I’m prepping my bike for the east side. Less trees over there lol.  I’ll be heading over there after I fully recover.

I always run flags in the woods over here. Way too many trees.

This is true. If you live on the east coast motosport can be 2 day usually. I think their warehouse is in virginia?

If you're in california or the PNW then it's not realistic to expect 3 day shipping, nor fair to complain about it.

It is easy to complain if item says it is in stock and you pay for expedited shipping. Most of my orders from Motosport have been delivered as promised, there were some hang-up's when it said item was in stock but then had to be drop shipped from manufacturer.

Hard parts I go through Beta directly as their prices are competitive and product is almost always in-stock and at my door within a couple days.

I used to work there. It’s difficult to even compare to RMATV just by size or volume of sales.

I did however work with some really great people. Not sure how things are going presently but they we were acquired then shuffled under backcountry.com at the time. I don’t think that has offered a lot of growth opportunities- or at least what it could be and I’m not sure I’m on board with backcountry being involved with a company that needs a demographic that rides dirt bikes and atvs. Seems like a conflict to their hike/outdoors customer base.

Honest question, where else do you guys order from? Maybe 10-15 years ago before Rockymountain seemed to be so unbeatable I would order from a ton of different places (motosport, BTO, bobs, chap...) but recently its hard to find anything that matches or beats RM. I'll occasionally buy from Slaves as they do have a good selection of KTM/Husky stuff, but I'd love to support some other retailers out there.

That totally tracks, I figured a buyout or a change up in management. When one company has 10+ in stock of multiple items and the other has a three week backorder..it’s not a supply chain issue.
