I missed this news somewhere along the way but really enjoyed this from SML....haven't heard many Brownie interviews like this.
Much respect to this guy's skill set and the drive to do it at 50+. Good questions from Swap on riding mindset changes as you get older.
When the mountains tumble into the sea and the stars fall from the sky- Mike Brown will still be kicking ass on a racetrack. The dude is incredible.
Guy Cooper raced a National at 40 years old on a KTM 540 four stroke.
Anyone remember how old John Dowd was when he raced at Southwick after retirement?
Brownie racing a National at 51 will be the oldest!
Amazing!
Browny is just the the MX version of Chuck Norris
So is he a Pro or an amateur?

Amateur pro looking at eyeing budds creek 2024 for a re-debut.
Neither! He is a beast!
He will have to wait until after Loretta's to race one of the last 3 nationals. LOL
I think he’s a Vet rider racing age-based classes when he can.
Mike works incredibly hard to stay fit. I would guess he is working harder to stay in race shape off the bike than any current AMA pro rider has to.
Dowd last raced Southwick in 2013 which I think puts him at 47 or 48 . 23rd overall finish .
No, Chuck Norris is a version of Brownie :-)
If Brown qualifies for a national in 2024 to go with his string of doing (at least some) MX nationals that started in 1991 and ended in 2013 that would be very impressive!! But Dowd raced his first MX national in 1987 and raced every year til 2013 thats 26 years straight and on top of that got 3rd overall at Southwick in 1989 which was only his 3rd national and 20 years later in 2009 got 3rd overall at Southwick again at 44 years old !! That's Impressive
Smart move by Triumph
Brownie will get them seen smoking everyone at the Vet Nationals, Loretta Lynns, ETC.
For the moment he can still ride whatever bike he wants.
I expect he'll be on a Triumph once they release their 450.
I just know he cherry picks classes and steals trophies from hard working moto guys at amatuer events....just a joke
Hopefully you can find a safe space to cry about it....
Dumb
LOL, he is 50+
Thank God he ignores these comments and just races.
Pit Row
Looks like those " hard working moto guys" aren't working hard enough.
Makes me think they're just being lazy and want a trophy handed to em
I know you are, but what am I?
Smart move by Triumph!
They look legit, hope the bikes are too.
