I thought she did a good job, though I swear she flubbed a few words in there.

A big step up from Ace though...

I could make the national anthem look good following Ace's display. And my singing voice is that of crows...

I am a veteran of two wars and have been in the Air Force for 21 years and I thought she KILLED it!!! I had goose bumps... It's incredible how there is always someone that needs to be negative...

She should be very proud!!!

Not talking shit. Just stating the facts the way I heard. Makes it a little easier on my part to know what the words are when they post them on the big screen. The whole section I was in heard the same thing and were looking around like "did that just happen"?

No offense to your daughter, she has a beautiful voice.

Yeh whoever that guitarist was really made a dogs breakfast of your anthem, which is a pity as being @ an national event in the states b4 (Vegas 03 NHRA) and hearing the anthem being sung and the crowd woohooing and yeahing and whistling and cheering just b4 the F-16's went overhead gave me chills it was and awesome feeling.

My wife did Phoenix a couple years in a row, 07, 08 I think. It is stressful and it could be easy to mess up the words. The first time she did it as a duet. The second time solo. What is obvious is the people pay more attention than I thought they did. That is really cool. I've heard lots of NA's over the years and I hate when some one improvises with it. Ace sucked. I just like to hear a clear, strong voice in tune that knows the words to give our anthem it's due respect. I filmed it but the video kinda sucks. I tried to get a copy from Clear Channel but they don't seem to want to let them go.
