The only way I'll get on a commercial aircraft is if close family or friend is dying.

Too many years flying on private jets.  That's what commercial used to be.  They are now no better than a Greyhound bus.  It's actually disgusting.  Correction...the people are disgusting...the airlines are responsible for the crowding.

I will fly standing up if its cheap enough... i can fly to Berlin from the UK for the weekend for less than it costs to park my car while i do it. 

Imagine what a flight like that would cost today, and more importantly what it would have cost then. 

But it does enlighten folk who have zero fucking idea of how life USED to be , what we took for granted and lost .
