The Constitution should be all the rights you need! If it's not, the is a serious problem.

I have the P365-xmacro and it is a great concealed carry pistol. It's the one carry pistol I would keep if I could only have one....

You have to get the California compliant one there I'm assuming?

Not mentioning names but I know more than one person who’s attitude is if they feel like they need to carry a concealed weapon for their safety, they don’t care if they have a piece of paper from the government that says they can or not.
Right or wrong that’s just a fact. I have no idea what the penalty would be if they get caught with it, or worse have to use it. (It’s not me)

Buddy loved his. It’s so hard for me to carry anything besides my xds9. I like the bever tail safety as when I carry I use a clip and no trigger guard. Guns amazing. I purchased maybe 8 more diff brands and models since I’ve moved to az in Feb and just more comfortable with the xds which was my first.

Speaking of guns, anyone have any experience with one of these?  Not familiar with the brand at all, but their prices seem to be pretty decent....

Great gun!

I’ve owned mine for about 4 years & shot the snot out of it.

it’s very accurate for me & most everyone who has shot it.

it a little stiff when new, so find some Seller & Bellot 124 gr Nato ammo to break it in.

Just be very careful when you first shoot it, the trigger is really smooth & a little light.

Yeah, but I don't think the differences are worth not getting it.

I,m no pistol expert but isn’t a 9mm a little big. I don’t see it being all that accurate at 60 yards but I could be wrong. I only shot a pistol one time about 20 yrs ago it was my dad’s 22. He talked it up & he knew I was expert level shooter. We put 2 x4 , 4 in blocks on top of an old refrigerator door.i told my dad i,m taking the corners off the blocks.  I held the gun facing down & did an old west character.  So I hear your looken for me & think your gun is the fastest. Son there is only 1 gun faster than light & it’s in my hand rt now.  Quick raise & I had 6 blocks flying at the same time. Us farm boys started shooting real early. If you’re not working you hv a gun in your hand. A lot of single shot 22 bolt action, 22& 410 single a neighbors gun, 12,20 gauge. Single shot. I bought a Remington Wingmaster 12 gauge pump  my favorite gun ever when I was 12. 200 bucks. . You can carry it anyway & get a quick shot off.  My uncle said JC you dropped that deer at 250 yards, a lob shot.  1st shot blew some sod up rt in front. 2nd shot through the heart. Deer was wo running. My world war 2 grandpa haha he was a horrible shot. His shots where 20 yards behind.Grouse & wood cock r fun to drop . Real little I heard of Annie Oakley & how great she was. I wanted to be better so I did more difficult shots.  I didn’t think the mirror shot was difficult.  Washers the size of dimes practice on them. Then a real dime at 40 yards with a bb in a pellet gun. Head shot on a rooster pheasant hunting .177 pellet. Etc neighbors on the last weekend deer hunting calling we hv a meat tag.  We,ll put on post & drive the woods. My last deer I shot I was  getting my tree climber setup. I hear a trashing 50 yards away I see a buck. Only shot I hv is the guts & I won’t use that. I had my 12 with 1 hand resting  backwards on my shoulder. I wanted to see how fast this buck was. So I stepped on some dead twigs & he darted. Dropped him rt threw the heart.

Is anyone buying pistols, preparing for a gun fight at 60 yards?

My dad has one and he absolutely loves it. I’ve shot it a few times and really like it as well. The trigger pull feels excellent on them and it’s very accurate. I’d recommend getting one.

I typically carry a Smith & Wesson Shield (9mm) concealed. A lot of guys like the Glock G42 or G43 but I personally prefer the feel and trigger of the Shield. I’d highly recommend either the G43 or Shield to anyone interested in purchasing a decently priced concealed carry gun.

Yeah I just meant that's why you were waiting for stores to get them. Looks like the only difference really is the interlock when there's no magazine loaded. I prefer a slide safety on a carry around anyway.

+1 on the shields, not fancy but feels just right.

She obviously was not skilled in the manual of arms. There is a reason the safety does not get disengaged until you have a target. Pretty sure they teach you that at the most basic hunter safety course.

Officially it is 17 + 1 in the chamber. However, 17 is super tight to the point it feels wrong. I have 4 mags and they are all the same. 16 + 1 is still awesome. I used to rotate between several other carry pistols including CZ RAMI, XDS, Sheild and others.

Unfortunately all but the sig were lost in a tragic boating mishapWhistling

Single stack FTW!

I can’t decide between all the P365s. P365, P365X, XMacro, XMacro Comp, XL, etc. I want something small and light, but not Ruger LCP small. The idea is something I can pocket carry and take hiking, so size and weight play a role. My Glock is more of a belt gun and less of a pocket carry. Probably need to go to the store and hold them all.

It varies from state to state and in colorado its only a class 2 misdemeanor the first time. If you do need to use your pistol to protect yourself and it was concealed and don't have a CC then you wont get the benefit of the doubt when law enforcement shows up to the shooting, may also leave you open to more civil lawsuits from the next of kin of the dirtbag you had to shoot. Best bet is to follow the law to the letter when you carry. Cool

@holyroller1 I had to revisit this thread to say I ended up with the P365-x-macro tacops model. The grip just felt so much better in my hand than the X or XL, and for all it comes with I went for it. I considered the x-macro comp, but for the price I didn't feel enough difference with the compensator when firing. I considered ordering one with an optics red-dot, but may end up adding one down the road. I can seriously say I'm excited about my new purchase!
