This is one of those Cooksey things that actually could be true
I'll be stoked if it happens, but I'm not holding my breath. The KTM Group hasn't defended an MXGP title since Cairoli in 2018, I can't see them letting Prado risk grenading himself in SX and ruining that chance.
I say he won’t.

...doesn't make sense to make that decision after 8 or 9 days of testing on a practice track in Murrieta,
If Prado breaks himself at supercross and Herlings does what Herlings usually does, KTM Group won't have a shot at the world MX title in 2024.
Pierer Mobility is a pretty tight ship, they wouldnt let this kind of information out in early November even if it was true..
Click Bait.
Roczen did it before he came over. It isn’t really too far fetched of an idea. Just sucks that Cooksey got it out there. That dudes an asshat.
I think if this was true he would have been at the test track with the rest of RB KTM today.
Who is the frog supposed to be?
Would be cool to see but I think it won't happen, KTM Group has 2 GP title contenders, SX could be a meat grider for Prado an it seems Jeffrey is injury prone, the worst case scenario is both Prado and Jeffrey injured and another World Title for Honda and Gajser, because Gajser knows that he's there to win GP and titles and not take unnecesary risks racing other series
I doubt it but obviously would love to see it. I'll be at rounds 1 and 2
"Cooksey says..."
Unless he's talking about reviewing a bike then I don't believe a word he says. He might be right, but a broken clock is right twice a day.
Some of the bigger MX media sites in Europe mention it now too. Would be really cool if true
Not the best ones. Let's wait a bit before jumping on board.
Cooksey has a very punchable face
Tim gasjer racing another series is how he got hurt this year though.
This just doesn't seem feasible... Defending the GP title is priority 1.
To me it seems like a no brainer for Prado to race the first few rounds. Not racing just leaves some money on the table. The risk of injury is relatively low with how high his skills are. They are probably thinking that since he can't start on the 250, that a soft entry to the 450 class is for the best
He could start on a 450. He’s choosing not to if he races sx.
Pit Row
I do not think Prado racing the first 3 rounds is a good idea. Supercross is hard, the last 5 minutes of a main is a lot different than doing practice laps. I feel like defending the MXGP title should be number 1 priority, then if he decides to come to the US next year he will have 3+ months of practicing mainly supercross to get ready for a full year of Supercross.
Why can't he start on the 250, there is no age-out rule in SX.
He/they are choosing to start on the 450
He can't because he has an MXGP title
Correct
The rules state a MXGP Champ can not ride the 250 class
Ask herlings , josh hill about that, injured on other riding.
Ahhh, I did not know that.
That boy playing with fire. I would just come over after mxgp season is over. 10 days of SX training doesn't make you a competitive sx rider unless he's been riding sx in europe that we don't know about?
Why is it only 10 days practice, can't he practice now till A1 like everybody else?
Will he be doing a back flip or racing a mini bike?
You missed the point.
I'm no fan of him either, but you might be biting off more than you can chew lol
